I cannot wait for this video.. This b**** might actually be delivering for a change (Only Girl=boring, What’s My Name=boring, California King Bed=boring). And the song has really grown on me. When I first read the lyrics, I was like “what the f*** is this”, but now that I’ve had time to really listen to it, the simplicity of the lyrics have actually become the best thing! And the song is smashing already, so with a video she’ll definitely have another mega-hit on her hands. Wonder if she’ll ever top Umbrella though…

not trying to start anything but i actually love how rihanna is herself, i prefer for an artist to be genuine.
This looks interesting. I think it will be something different and cool. She hasn’t made a misstep yet with rolling out this album in any way, so it looks like she’s on her way to another successful era. Upon listening to the song again, I don’t thinks it’s “bad”, it’s a grower. I’m still under the impression that a better voice would have made it such a beautiful, ethereal song, but that’s just my thing about Rihanna’s voice in particular—I think she sings things that require to much to be done to her voice for it to sound good live.
