While wholly listenable (and likely a future radio staple), the cut falls short of expectation. For, on paper, it boasts all the workings of a stellar track (see: major feature, hard-hitting title). Yet, in reality the production is generic.com, as is Minaj’s contribution – which ultimately could have been phoned in by any run-of-the-mill R&B chick. Sans the autotune too.
