Say what you want about Britney’s ‘Tin-man choreographed’ stage-shows, but there is no denying that Ms. Spears has brought it time and time again this era with her videos as ‘Criminal’ was no exception – certainly a homerun. Engaging storyline, the absence of lacking choreography, yes!
Who knows? Maybe its’ editing that brings her to life because, given the immediacy of live performance, there are no chance for redos. And, since she’s been “acting” like she’s been dancing for the last 3-4 years, might as well take those newly earned acting skills to somewhere they matter most – videos!
Life, presence, movement! All there (for once)! There may be hope for Brit yet. ‘Gimme, gimme more’!

I love criminal music video, even the song is very organic and fresh. Criminal is one of the best mid-tempo single of the year.

xx, you sure shouldn’t try checking for britney by putting bey on blast for pu–y popping. did you forget britney’s video where she was in a steamroom bare ass and covered in not a thing but sweat. also, they put artists on mags that can sell. if bey wasn’t already relevant she wouldn’t be on, as you say, ” all the magazines”.
britney was the sh!t back in the day but bey has come hard for her now when it comes to album sales and tour dollars. it’s kinda weak when you have to trip back 10 years to make your fave shine.
with hype from the media britney can still hold her own pretty well after 12 years but she’s far from takin’ down bey.
