With not long to go till the release of Jojo‘s upcoming album, ‘Jumping Trains‘ , the 20 year old vocalist took the KTLA 5 stage today to perform its lead single ‘Disaster‘ in a bid to boost awareness for the project.

JoJo did an AMAZING job!!I really like this song and her voice is brilliant.She has put a little pressure on her voice with the tour being underway and it hasn’t healed yet, but she still slayed all the runs and most of the high notes.Very impressive!I’m just so glad it’s all working for her.I hope radio is going to give it a good response in early November when it’s going to be sent to them 🙂

I always enjoy hearing JoJo talk because she’s intelligent, insightful and wise beyond her years… I just wish she’d stick to talking, because much as I like her, her singing voice is routinely lacklustre.
At points throughout this, I recoiled with horror.
Her voice and her pitch might have been off at times because she needs vocal rest and she was sick, but with the tour going on, she didn’t have time to get better.JoJo is a gifted vocalist and she’s not perfect yet, but she’s great.
Not a bad performance. You have to understand that KTLA has one of the worst set ups for live performances. She can obviously sing and you can hear she’s sick as well. Girl still kills most people in the industry, even on a day like this. Not to mention it looked like she had a hard time hearing herself and the backgrounds were also weak.
UMMM JESSIE JAMES IS WHO SHES GIVING ME. BUT JESSIE IS AN EMERGED JOJO…SO WHERE IS JOJO GOING WITH ALL THIS? I LOVE IT THOUGH AND HOW HER VOICE SOUNDS RAW AND EMOTIONAL.

Well JoJo has been sick and touring, thats why she her voice sounds a bit rough and crackly. She just needs Vocal rest
Voice was amazing, but you can tell she was sick which is why she avoided the biggest notes and parts of the chorus. Backing vocalists were awful too, they obviously had an arrangement for the backing vocalists to do most of the chorus cos it’s in a higher register but they weren’t even audible. Plus the song was cut short, so you know they did everything they could to not do too much to harm her voice, bless her. Still has one of the greatest R&B voices of our generation. I hope this girl kills it in 2012.
