Hot Shots: Madonna Makes Moves With Harper’s Bazaar *Updated*

Published: Thursday 10th Nov 2011 by Rashad

Though reportedly upset by the leak of her new single ‘Give Me All Your Love’, pop queen Madonna is still in the spirit of giving.  For, shortly after the song (which the singer’s camp is claiming is a demo and ‘nowhere near’ the finished version) made its rounds on the net, fans were given the chance of seeing ol’ Madge landing the latest Harper’s Bazaar cover.

Speaking on new music, her (neverending) love life, being young, and her movie about another royal figure ‘W.E.’, the interview comes shortly after news the superstar will be taking her talents to the SuperBowl (joined by rapstress Nicki Minaj) to precede the February release of her next LP.

See more shots of the Material Girl below (via Bazaar):

Albeit photo-shopped to the heights of an attic on Mount Olympus, with starlets half  her age getting just as much retouch, credit should still be given where it is due.  Madgestic indeed.

F*** off sam. It’s not that photoshopped.

  2. >am so am so proud of you November 10, 2011

i see you Modonna keep doing you.

    The f***?

First of all, the correct word is not “photoshopped,” but rather airbrushed. If you’re going to try and be catty, have your words right, else run the risk of looking like an idiot.

Second of all, *every* posed photo of *every* celebrity in a magazine is airbrushed to hell and back. So what is your point, kid? You were trying to be cute and covert with a tacky and unnecessary inference to age, and it backfired on you.

Refrain from posting Madonna updates if you are going to be this petty. Stick to your silly and perpetual stream of digs at Rihanna.

    So damn stupid. Shut up.

What are you commenters talking about?! Madge is without a question Thee most photoshopped and Airbrushed individual out there. Did you see those untouched D&G ads, have you seen any paparazzi photos of her in the last 4 years? This women hires Beyonce, Mariah, ANDD Britney’s photoshop team to try and manage that hot mess of a face .

Yes. She’s. Airbrushed. Don’t Question, it’s too obvious. Everyone has a bit (you probs even do it to your Facebook profiles), but come on, Madonna defines Airbrushing.

Doesn’t mean you can’t love her anyway (My way of saying, no hate – But lets be real)

did i read the same article and click on the same pictures? maybe not photoshopped or “airbrushed” (hell same thang) to the gods like sam said, but still quite noticeably so. and sam even said “people half her age get just as much retouch” so its not like he was making a crack specifically at her age. God. get a life people

  6. King Z November 10, 2011

her legs in those photos of her standing are NOT THAT NATURALLY LONG

    @mafalo

Your rant was unnecessary, u obviously misunderstood. It’s obvious you’re a lil sensitive when it comes to ole Madge. If so, you’re better off sticking to her fansite. Nobody and i do mean nobody is a sacred cow on an urban blog. Get a grip

    She looks grea though.

  9. nicegirl November 11, 2011

She looks good. This is my fave part of the interview:

Madonna points out that her own age is always a focus. “I find whenever someone writes anything about me, my age is right after my name,” she says. “It’s almost like they’re saying, ‘Here she is, but remember she’s this age, so she’s not that relevant anymore.’ Or ‘Let’s punish her by reminding her and everyone else.’ When you put someone’s age down, you’re limiting them.”

It’s her single that will come out in February, not the album 😉

And what the f*** is wrong with the word “photoshopped”.Why can’t people use it??I have used it before and someone told me that I should use “airbrushed” instead but he couldn’t explain why.The word “photoshopped” exists, it’s relatively new, like the term “photoshop” itself and I’m going to use it without asking for MAFALO’s permission.OK??

  11. Those That Cannot Do, Stan November 11, 2011

I could be wrong but Photoshop typically refers to the editing where they slim a person’s body parts or put their head on an entirely different body. Airbrushing is when they smooth out wrinkles, even your skin tone etc.

I’m sure Madonna’s had both though so have folks like Julia Roberts. When your photo gets banned for being overly airbrushed you know you’ve hit the wall.
