For, the 23 year old’s new single ‘We Found Love’ has not only returned to the top spot here; the Calvin Harris has broken a new record in the process.

In re-capturing the #1 spot on the Official UK Singles Chart, ‘Love’ has helped the model overtake slaydele Adele as the artist to have spent the longest time at #1 in 2011, with six collective weeks between ‘Love’ and ‘What’s My Name’.
Being the fair and unbias site that we are, it’s important to give credit where it’s due. As such, we can’t but congratulate Roc Nation, Calvin Harris, and all involved with crafting the cut.
The true test, however, will come this week when Fenty’s ‘Talk That Talk’arrives in stores. For, if history has taught us anything, it’s that her “Navy” are more inclined to spend $1 on her singles rather than $10 on her album. Interesting on many a front, this perhaps most underscores the fact that, in-spite of all her success, folk simply aren’t willing to buy into whatever she’s selling at point of release. Instead only doing so (on mass) once they’ve been subjected to the inevitable “eat it till you like it” tactics her team oft employ. Whether, after six years, such actions have paid off will be interesting to see. Very.

The fact of the matter is, Rihanna has gotten to Number 1 by accepting any song that comes her way with a beat and know’s people will dance to it! Adele WRITES her own songs and sings them with such emotion that the listener is made to feel something? What does “We Found Love” make you feel? Yes Rihanna may be hot at the moment, but whats going to happen when her looks fade? She wont be able to dress in a bra on stage to cover the fact she’s s*** live, yet Adele will still have her amazing voice! “21” has sold 12 million copies since January, Loud has sold 8, which is still good, but it’s not 12! I would just like to know how someone is suppose to put heart and soul into making “another” record whilst on tour! i was a fan of Rihanna but she’s simply churning out the album year after year and to be quite frank, I have no respect for an artist that does what!
