With fan favorite ‘End of Time’ also dropping earlier today, ‘I Was Here’ is the latest taste of the ‘Elements’ DVD set to whet appetites.

I honestly wish rihanna would be more like gaga and write most of her music because sometimes it seems she is a puppet. However, this doesn’t always mean someone isn’t a true artist. Whitney and Celine do not write their songs they just sing them but I think Rihanna would be seen more authentic to people if she wrote her songs and stopped letting the industry control her as a product since her talent is kinda weak. I really like a lot of different artist, I do. But beyonce is my favorite. She may seem boring to sum, but I love how she has taken control of her career and her brand.

She doesn’t dance as well as Janet, but I think she has better voice…she might not sing as well as old whitney and Mariah, but I think she’s a better entertainer. And while I’ll be the first to say that she’s no MJ, I think both artist have an INCREDIBLE work ethic.
You don’t have to think she’s the best, but cmon…you gotta at least admit that she’s a GREAT entertainer. An entertainer that can actually sing and dance.
So many words come to mind to describe this song and performance— inspirational, beautiful, and touching to name a few. She has so much to be grateful for. Her career is so fulfilling. Anyway, I don’t like to put down other artists (that much) but I have to say that the Beyonce vs. Rihanna comparisons are utterly ridiculous. Rihanna is nowhere near Beyonce’s league performance wise. As far the Christina/Beyonce comparisons, that’s a much more reasonable debate. I have respect for both ladies as legitimate vocalists/performers and I think it boils down to personal preference. In my opinion Beyonce has the edge peformance and versatility wise because I prefer the tone of her voice, I think she is better with choreography, and you might see her dancing off a Souljah Boy song one minute and beautifully singing a Barbra Streisand song the next. I think both are great but most of the time Christina screams a bit too much for me. Anyway, like I said, it’s about preference/opinion with those two but about misjudgment, poor taste, or immaturity when it comes to comparing or picking Rihanna over Beyonce performance wise.
