With a starring role in Tyler Perry’s forthcoming ‘The Marriage Counselor’ and a well as a highly anticipated album, it’s safe to say Brandy is not playing. But, as her 2012 is looked busier than ever, news had long made rounds on many-an-outlet that the ‘Full Moon’ beauty would be filling out BET’s hit sitcom ‘The Game’. That capacity, previously reported as just a guest starring role however, has now been confirmed to be a starring role throughout the season.
Officially joining the cast of the series, the ‘Sitting Up In My Room’ singer will be one of many new faces made room for on season 5 of the highly rated series including reported guest stars on the ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta‘s’ Nene Leakes, Rockmond Dunbar, Loretta Devine, and more:
Following this year’s brief stints on Lifetime’s ‘Drop Dead Diva’ and ’90210′, ‘Game’ marks Brandy’s first fully casted return to television since her 90s starring role on ‘Moesha’. Tune in to ‘The Game’ only on BET – January 10th at 10p E.

I can’t wait for this girl to drop her album!!! Been a fan since 1994, I love that Silent Night track that came out even though it was leaked, musically she is bringing it!!! I’m glad she’s coming back in the scene again with the acting and the music. Can’t wait for her album to drop in early 2012!!!

Does she not have artists like Jill Scott, Rihanna, Mario, Tank, Chris Brown, Dawn in love with her sound? She is one of the most admired voices to real singers! I love The Game but BET has turned it into strictly a black sitcom in order to help their network and bring back quality black television. I get the strategy but I don’t believe they should have taken that approach with The Game. This show was great during the first 3 seasons and the 4th was so so. Now I feel like they will bring more drama and more african americans into a show that was a dramedy. This show doesn’t even seem diverse anymore. Not a racist but I just don’t want to see a good show turn into something about drama.

Its a blessing for her, she already said that she would do TV full time again.. and I think shes also doing drop dead diva as well. So.. thats alot of shit on her plate for 2012..
