With 2012 opening its doors to the world in now just a few days time, fans of Hip Hop veteran Lil Kim are now just one step closer to discovering just what the performer has in store in support of her long awaited ‘come back’.
So, as her way of saying thank you for the continued support, she released a brand spanking new promotional image for the upcoming project via Twitter on Christmas Day.

While recent career moves have made both Ms. Jones and her team very easy to mock, heckle and laugh at, we’d be lying if we said we weren’t interested to see how she will fare once this album finally hits stores.
Because, while her fans may support her with their mouths they are yet to prove that they are dedicated enough to support with her money, which may prove catastrophic for Team Kim if the LP rakes in sales even the likes of Jason Derulo would look down his nose at.
We wish Kim the best, but we just hope she realizes what releasing an album in the same year as Nicki Minaj‘s ‘Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded‘ will look like when the sales of both projects are inevitably going to be compared and used to further discredit her status as the Queen of Rap.

first of all. TGJ already posted the UK Year End charts, search for it.
And second of all I agree with this post.
Why do Kim fans think Nicki would earn less than her just because Kim is an ‘independent’ artist.
Kim has NEVER been a high seller OR a top earner, we know this because most of her music is owned by the Wallace estate AND Atlantic.
Second of all, Nicki’s songs will always get more radio play than a Kim song because Nicki’s song are MADE for the radio so she’ll always see more publishing than Kim will.
AND, Nicki owns the rights to all of her merchandise meaning she will always make money.
I like Kim, but don’t be foolish and think she earns more money just because she ‘cuts her own cheque’. Because, i’d rather earn more being somebody’s employee than earn less being my own boss.
If you guys dont go out and support this project, you’ll just give the haters more fuel to say she’s a has been and a flop.

This post is everything wrong with Music. Sales are not the deciding factor for someone status in music. Their music is. The fact that Kim has been in the music industry since 92 & still gathers your speaks volumes more than any payola or bluffed album sales. Nicki and Kim are in 2 different lanes. Kim created the lane and then moved onto another. Nicki is in Kims old lane and trying to cement her own. Nicki is marketing herself towards 10 year old girls. Kim is marketing herself towards Hip Hop. If Kim sold 1 l album it would not take away that She is the Queen of Hip Hop & Nicki Eve Trina are all products of her labor.
