Kelly Rowland digs into her inner disco diva in these shots from Hunger Magazine. The ‘Motivation’ hitmaker, who is diligently at work on her 4th studio album (due 2012), reteams with the famed Rankin (who also lists directing Rowland’s ‘Rose Colored Glasses’ video to credit) for the interesting shoot. The collection marks the second time an American singer was found featured in the fashion mag – Kelis being the first.

I’m growing increasingly concerned that Kelly Rowland is becoming one of “those chicks”. What chicks ? Thoes chicks who are talented but have become “typecast”. For example, J-Hud is an amazing talent who is known now for her weight loss. Jordan Sparks is another. Kelly is becoming just a face to place on the cover of a mag for anything. It’s cool that she is getting her shine but I would love for it be due to a stellar CD and not just based on her being a X-Factor Judge or an ex-member of DC! Kelly slayed on the F.A.M.E. Tour.
