Remember Kelly Rowland‘s solid showing of ‘Motivation’ on the Jay Leno Show a few months back?
Well, it turns out the rehearsal for the high-profile promo spot was equally as entertaining – thanks to a certain Perez Hilton.
The Pop blog originale was granted exclusive access to the X Factor judge as part of his ITV2 show ‘Superfan’.

Beyond the humour, it’s great to see Kelly having blossomed into such a seasoned performer. We can only hope she continues to throw in that pepper and spice, as she’s becoming an undeniable stage force.

but i love it when sam shows so much love to kelly….. BTW i hate it when people act like motivation is kelly’s only hit song!!!!! LIKE THIS was also succesful when it was released in 2007… It was all over the place like motivation and peaked #4 i the uk , #7 on the R&B charts , #1 on the dance charts and #30 on hot 100 … she even performed it during the 2007 bet awards

Who is Kelly’s manager….I mean seriously, she released 2 videos from her album when she had so many good songs. Lay It On Me would have done much better if she wouldn’t have waited forever to release the video…she has a bad management team…I thought Keep It Between Us was being released, she waste too much time.

It’ makes absolutely ZERO difference who manages Kelly Rowland. The brute force of her being that sitting U.K. X-Factor Judge/Mentor should’ve been ALL the ‘needed’ promotion and validation of her, and her brand..!!! Being handed those ‘keys to heaven’ should’ve EASILY trumped any “mismanagement”.
(K, let me entertain you both..) Why does Kelly Rowland suffer, so frequently, from such said “mismanagement”? Or, does she really?
Before her current management team, there was Matthew Knowles. While I’m no “industry insider”, I can safely say, one ‘non producing’ CD does NOT get an artist dropped! Especially during those ‘boom, pre-recession, discretionary-spend thrift’ days.
..That said, and simply put: 2002’s “Simply Deep”, and 2007’s “Ms. Kelly” FAILED..!!
Her label, Colombia, soon after fired her! There were then ‘howls of scorn’ heaped upon Matthew Knowles AND Beyonce: an “anti-Kelly conspiracy” was afoot.
For 30-something-year-old Kelly Rowland, that “blog noise” became too “loud”, and she fired Matthew Knowles and sought new management.
..So here we are, today, now almost 2-years since her “liberation” from that “hating/career-sabotaging” Matthew Knowles. And, yet again, here we are, trying to put ‘reason to rhyme’ as to why, after being given such once-in-a-lifetime opportunities, we’re again witness to epic, if not biblical failure(s): “Here I am”.
And even though X-Factor U.K. now gives way to B**’s “Strictly Come Dancing”, it’s STILL one of T-H-E, now most WEEKLY-watched, of U.K. shows. How, under heaven, do you NOT capitalize on such ethereal exposure..?! How, after being voted one of X-Factor’s ‘most popular’, do you NOT leverage THAT into CD sales???
