I don’t like this song. It’s not bad but it’s more of a CD filler IMO then a lead song. I’m going to assume this song is the “No BS” equivalent from the F.A.M.E.! Now he needs ot release a “Deuces” equivalent.

When CB first announced “Strip” as a single, the first thing that popped in my head was the visual. I just knew it was going to be a ratchet mess, Lol! But I really enjoyed this, and I’m glad the song is picking up radio spins. It deserves to be a hit

Well, I am STILL so not happy about the being a lead single, I’m just NOT here for it. The song is ‘cute’ , but too basic. It’s just not single material IMO. It sounds like a filler or ‘buzz’ single. I’m sick of the ‘stripper anthems’ and K Mac’s verse is just WACK! Ugh! I can’t imagine why out of all the material he has recorded this stuck out to him as a good lead single choice. SMH! I think he has too many yes people around him who won’t tell him the honest truth sometimes.
That being said, the video DEFINITELY helped me like the song better! Chris knows how to play up his charm in a video. It wasn’t all rauncy and explicit (like I expected) which was perfect because he has been there, done that! Of course there were plenty of half naked ‘models’ but at least they kept it cute. It was silly and lighthearted, not really a concept but still a nice visual overall. I should have much figured Colin wouldn’t disappoint me. He never does!
I think the mountains with the snow was random as hell, but I guess they were supposed to be at a sky lounge so that’s why. *shrugs*
I guess we shall see if the video helps the single on the charts but I am skeptical.
