Case, point, example, the model’s latest ‘Loud’ show in Lisbon, which saw her scurry off stage mid-song to vomit. Granted we’ve done the same after watching some of her “performances”, this appears somewhat more serious.

An unmitigated mess! One which actually has us feeling somewhat sorry for the 23 year old. Clearly overworked (or overworking herself), this (and her recent hospital stint) serves as ample evidence that the body can only take so much.
That said, in keeping it 100, this performance hardly differs from her usual lazy parade; with any notion of “overworked” boiling down to the fact she has to serve up an album every five minutes to hide her lack of talent. And, ultimately, so that folk don’t realise nor forget her.
In any case, we wish Ms. Fenty a speedy recovery.

Being that she has little ‘star power,’ in order to sustain her momentum she has to continually strike while the iron is hot, while employing a multitude of petty ‘stunts’ to get attention (tacky wigs, brothel attire, referencing her tumultuous relationship Chris Brown years later.) The moment she sits down to catch her breath, ten more record label assembled chippies will be thrown into the ring and the last two standing will be the next “Rihanna.”
In 2012, no more do we need windup doll acts like Rihanna getting on camera and posing like an androidian cast-off from America’s Next Top Model, while vapidly bleating over an empty dance track, hanging around longer than the fifteen minutes that is typically allotted for manufactured pop stars such as her. It’s just getting sad now, and the quality is dipping.
