50 Cent Sends Heartfelt Message To Jimmy Iovine

Unfortunately for fans of 50 Cent, the drama surrounding his relationship with record executive and long time friend Jimmy Iovine has played out quite publicly within the last few weeks, forcing many to question the Rapper’s future at the label and quite interestingly- his mental state.

Now he taken to Twitter to express his current feelings towards Iovine and how he feels about the status of his long awaited new album.

His statement below…

He confessed:

I put a lot in to this project but I don’t care if it ever comes out. Jimmy iovine has been like a mentor for me. I just want to stay friends.

Kudos to 50 for saying how he truly feels as we know that can’t have been easy to do.

Only time will tell if this business dispute will ever be resolved or serve to mark  one of the darkest moments of the performer’s career.

For, with many of 50’s detractors suggesting that he has in some way become a shadow of his former self, it would be all kinds of embarrassing if Interscope never releases this album after all the work and finances that have gone into its conception.

Your thoughts?

that was real nice of 50.

I pray these two can have a sit down, no bullshitting and just say how each other feels. clearly they’re good together because theyve had so much success in the past, now all 50 needs to do is convince them that he knows a way to start selling records again.

And people call drake a b****?

MAYBE if 50 wasnt do damn cocky and complacent back in the day he wouldnt be desperate for a deal now.

how funny that a few years ago he was laughing at rick ross now rick ross is on top and 50 is at the bottom.

even tho i dont like 50 because he associates with Baby Bop, it takes a really strong person to admit they want to reconcile with someone they are currently having problems with.
I respect him for that. hopefully they can work it out, if not they can shake hands on what has been a good run and move onto pastures new.

    @drakeisking

He was jocking regarding the deal, he’s obligated to release one more solo album under interscope records, know the facts before you speak.

Fifty needs to be more humble & stop putting other people down all the time. I believe strongly in karma. He is a cool dude i worked with him…

I bet Interscope got pissed so 50 came back and tried to be politically correct.

He knows he will have to find another record deal after this one (unless hes just releases stuff on his own).

But I understand 50’s aggreviation, since Curtis Interscope really hasn’t done much to promote the albums (even Curtis 50 had to start that s*** with Kanye to sell), I heard a lot more about Kanye’s album than 50’s.

He needs to bail, they probably black ball him since he talks s*** about them (I think pac went through the same thing, talking bad about your company is RISKY!!!)

He made/makes money and lost that raw essence that got him to the top.

He still doing well but his hunger seems to really be back on the music, because at one point that wasn’t his priority but the other adventures sure made him richer.

We’ll see! His material really needs to come gritty and rawer than his last couple projects.
