Looks like someone’s had a change of heart.
Indeed, after taking his war of ‘subliminals’ with Drake to all new levels with his verse on ‘Stay Schemin’ , Common has confessed that he is ready to turn a new leaf.
Declaring, that despite the harsh words exchanged between the two, he is actually a fan of the Rapper.
His comments below…
Speaking to Rolling Stone, he admitted:
I feel like I said what I had to say, and I’m just going to let it be at that point.
I just felt like somebody stepped and challenged me, so I had to step into the ring. He said some things that I thought were directed at me, so I had to address it back.
Now, if something else happens, then I’ll just have to act accordingly. But right now, I feel like, man, I said what I needed to say about this situation on record.
He’s definitely said some real clever things and made some cool songs. I think he makes good music. I like his music.
While this might irk anyone with a ‘vested interest’ in their feud, we’re glad Common has decided to end what really has been a petty situation.
Because, it was beginning to seem as though the Rapper was trying to pull a Lil Kim by overreacting to what were clearly a number of subtle jabs aimed at him, and this was doing very little for both he and his once faultless public image.

2 of my fav rappers with the lamest beef…I’m really surprised that Common is a part of this…he’s too mature for this 9lead by example & stop falling into the typical hip-hop way of confronting some1 by doing a ‘diss” record)…if these 2 have a “problem” with one another, be men & discuss it face to face, in private, instead of recording “diss’”records…both of them are lame for this “beef”.
