Without a doubt, the return of vocal trio SWV has served to remind many of R&B’s slow but sure return to the charts.
So in a bid to capitalize on this growing trend, and reignite their once thriving fan base, the ladies have shot a video for their single ‘Cosign‘, the first song lifted from their new album ‘I Missed Us’.
Directed by acclaimed creative Derek Blanks, the clip’s premier date is yet to be announced but until it does, peep these shots taken from its set yesterday.

Looking like a hot mess. Good voice so what, this world is all about IMAGE. they will never be able to touch someone who has both the VOICE and the IMAGE. and that’s QUEEN BEYONCE. None of these former girl groups will ever make it big, i’m sorry, the only exception is BEYONCE.

Seeing as how they are down one member, and that one member is nothing less than irreplaceable – I doubt it.
I agree. At their peak I would put TLC above any other girl group…ever…but w/o Left-Eye they can never go forward. It’s all about what was, as opposed to what’s more.
I like SWV and will appreciate their comeback, but I’d be more interested in a rejuvenated En Vogue. Next to TLC, they were the best girl group.
Tlc was the best creative group. EnVogue best vocally. Swv one of the better r&b groups.

I’m glad that SWV ‘s making a comeback (although I’m not a fan). It would be nice to see them start a trend. If any girl group from the past was returning, I’d prefer EnVogue, 702 or TLC (in this order). I really don’t care about any others, but I wish them all well. The music industry is tough on them.
