Pop potentate Madonna has certainly been mums about her highly anticipated Superbowl showing. But, while news has long made headlines of rapstress Nicki Minaj and M.I.A.‘s inclusion in the set, now word has it the pop eccentric has enlisted another eccentric to complete the fold – Cee Lo Green.
According to The Insider, Green has been getting quite familiar with Madge’s 30 year catalog to revamp some of the vixen’s greatest hits. But, despite the spoiler, word has it that Green, Minaj, and M.I.A. are only three of many surprises that the ‘Bedtime Story’ singer has in store for the showing.
Madonna, who is set to unveil the first single ‘Give Me All Your Luvin‘ from her 12th LP ‘M.D.N.A.‘, is just the latest pop icon to team with the ‘Crazy’ singer. ‘The Voice’ judge is also sharing the screen with ‘The Voice’ Whitney Houston for ‘Sparkle’ – due in theaters August 10.
The Superbowl airs live on February 5th.

Da f*** you talking about? Janet hasn’t had a top 10 hit in 11 eleven years and “Feedback” only barely nixed the top 20 for like a week. And excluding her “Star Spangle Banner” rerelease, Whitney hasn’t had a top 20 hit since 1999. Madonna’s scored top 10 hits in 2006 and 2008.
And nobody CONTINUALLY breaks tour records on “hype”. Madonna’s last 3 stadium/arena tours each became the biggest solo tours in history and were only bested by her next tours. And Madonna’s tickets are a lot more EXPENSIVE. If Janet is such a better entertainer, then why did one of her tours get cancelled for poor attendance and then have to do another tour out of small theaters? And if Whitney is such a better singer, why were people actually walking out on her shows during her last tour?
Don’t even try that. Figure for figure, stat for stat, in the last decade Madonna (who just signed a huge multi-album deal with 40 mil) has outperformed both Whitney (whose label head went on record saying that they won’t release any more music from her until she gets her act together) and Janet (who isn’t even signed to a label today) — considerably.
Don’t mind Asshole, he’s just salty because T***** Reductive is already playing out after only 2 albums and because the public see’s her as the fake wannabe copycat she is. 😆

@MAFALO Madonna is notorious for over charing at her shows. Her tour is the ‘highest grossing solo tour’ but in tour attendence (what actually matters) U2, The Rolling Stones, and Michael Jackson have got her beat. But anywho, she seems really insecure about performing on her own- Nicki Minaj, M.I.A, Cee-Lo Green, LMFAO, and Cirque du Soliel. Is it even her superbowl anymore? Despite my dislike for her, she is a legend and should be able to entertain- though a Super Bowl performance is very different from a concert where everyone in the audience loves you. You have to bring it at a Halftime show or it will end up making you the talk of the town (not in a good way). But then again any publicity is good publicity for Madonna. I expect nothing good since it doesn’t seem like she wont even have time for a medley which is what i’m looking forward to.
