“Billboard/ I mean I’m winning but I’m still bored“
Congratulations are in order for Nicki Minaj today, following a number of impressive feats scored by the Hip Pop star earlier this week.
Because, just hours after breaking an online record with her video for ‘Stupid Hoe’, she has scored her first Billboard #1 single.

As the highest selling digital track of the week, her David Guetta produced jam ‘Turn Me On‘ is #1 on the chart, beating Rihanna‘s ‘We Found Love’ and Adele‘s ‘Set Fire To The Rain’ to the top spot.
Marking her first time atop the digital chart,’On’s success comes days after Nicki confirmed the song would feature on her upcoming LP ‘Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded’, in stores April 3rd.
In total, the song was downloaded 198,000 times, 44% higher than its sales last week even without the aid of the supporting video which premieres in coming days.

All the charts are important because it dictates your position on the BB100. If you have a number 1 on Urban, Dance, and Pop you are pretty much guaranteed a number one on BB100.
Turn me on has a Greatest Gainer award in both sales and airplay. The NEW CHARTS will be out tomorrow where you will see Nicki & David advance to number one on BB Digital Songs chart. You should also see movement on the other charts like Dance, Pop and BB100.
It’s really that simple.
