In love with Pop Icon Madonna?

According to the Daily Star’s James Ingham who was at the taping earlier on today, the icon revealed that the album is named:
M.D.N.A
With a press release regarding the album set to emerge in coming days, it would be fair to say that Ms.Ciccone’s promotional campaign is now officially in full swing.
Update:
The singer’s official website has since confirmed the album’s title.

According to Glamour Magazine, when commenting on Lady Gaga, who the Internet loves to pit her against Madonna said:

I have to admit that I didn’t catch on to the DNA thing right away. I was thinking she wanted to use some of the letters in her name, which I thought was foolish. Now that I caught on I do think it’s clever. That’s one thing I’ll give Madonna credit for. It’ll be interesting to see who makes the better album this year, teacher or student(Madge /Gaga).

Not too sure about MDNA, ah well, it could have been worse. She should have just called the album “M”, short and to the point. I believe she took the letters from her name but the similarity to MDMA is unfortunate, she really doesn’t want to be seen to be possibly advocating drug use. Anyway, content is far more important than title, watching with interest ;o)
