Last night, in helping Carson Daly bring in the new year, Brit bred vocalist Jessie J took the ‘New Year’s Eve With Carson Daly‘ stage to deliver a rousing set of cuts lifted from her debut album ‘Who You Are’.

After spending a large portion of 2011 in the USA, we can only hope 2012 will see both Jessie generate an even greater buzz for herself in the country well before for the release of her sophomore album.

Sam, darling, who considers Jessie J the voice of any generation? She is really not that great of a singer and she will never make it big if she keeps up the gimmick she has. Shes like Rihanna, Katy, and Gaga in one. We dont need that. I think she will have better success if she ditched the gimmick, the outfits, and the generic recycled Katy Perry tracks.
Jessie J is one of the best of our generation, no doubt within my mind! I hope her 2nd album takes away the silly comparisons and allows her voice to shine for what it is, a truly incredible one!
