Hot Shot: Original Sugababes Reunite…Well Almost

Published: Saturday 25th Feb 2012 by Sam

Try as they have, the original Sugababes have had their cover blown.

Once shrewd in secrecy, their reformation has been confirmed by many a source – including Emeli Sande, who spoke to That Grape Juice recently about working with the Brit-Pop trio.

And it seems this had led the ladies to make less of an effort to conceal the comeback everyone’s waiting for. Case, point, the shot above, which saw members Keisha Buchanan and Mutya Buena pose it up with UK talent Wretch 32 and Daley at an industry function.

The photo follows months of public teasing on Twitter; a collective practice which frequently includes fellow “original” Siobhan Donaghy.

With the current incarnation of the Babes’ reportedly without a label or future prospects, the path seems clearer than ever for a the ladies who started it all to claim what’s theirs.

Mutya looks awful. She used to be my fave Sugababe, though. I’m so tired of people acting like the original comeback are a bonafied success, while they all have failed in their respective solo “careers”…I hope they release some good music and I’m not hating or anything, but people only mention them to diss 4.0 (that are not half bad! )
