Jennifer Hudson Dances Up A Storm In ‘Think Like A Man’ Video (Teaser)

Published: Tuesday 28th Feb 2012 by Sam

While there’s never been any doubt surrounding Jennifer Hudson‘s vocal prowess, the power-belter seems keen to prove her worth as an all-round performance.

That’s if this teaser for new video ‘Think Like A Man’ is anything to go by.

The visual for the cut, which is the title track for Steve Harvey‘s hit movie of the same name, premieres tomorrow. Pending then, you can see what the newly svelte Ms. Hudson and featured acts Ne-Yo and Rick Ross are poised to serve up below…

We’ll hold full judgement until seeing the clip in its entirety. The song knocks, though.

Your thoughts?

“Dancing up a storm”? No. Moving? Yes, indeed. Thank goodness somebody else was first to comment on this post. Cause.. I’m definitely not a JHud fan but I am definitely feeling this. Good to see her performing outside of a commercial.

IDKY they keep trying to make Jennifer a dancer.
Let the girl just stand there & sing & do what she does best.
Leave the dancing to the other talentLESS artists….I won’t say names.

Tyler Perry????? You mean Steve Harvey………….

  9. truthhurts February 28, 2012

For someone that stated when she had more weight on her at the time, she will never do anything like Rhianna/Beyonce but now since the weight loss I see less is better and now trying to incorporate some moves, not dancing because that’s not dancing just moves.

Yea! like someone else said Steve Harvey has a movie coming out called “Think Like A Man” based off his book the same name not Tyler Perry…

YES J.HUD !!!!! – and it was simple mistake, not Tyler Perry movie – Steve Harvey! With these kind of movies, Tyler Perry is the first to come to mind. LOL …. goodMorning Sam!

I understand the song is inspired by the book, but the line “Act like a woman, but think like a man.” is so offensive and misogynistic. I also despise how the song starts, the background is so annoying. I suppose folks will eat up anything sometimes though.. I’m so over these buffoonery movies, will we ever get movies like Soul Food, Love Jones, Set it Off, Best Man, Love & Basketball or Waiting to Exhale again?

Even if this isn’t a Tyler Perry production, this crap only exist because of Tyler’s influence..

@nate Those were some good movies you metioned. I loved all of them. I wish there were more Blck producers making good films for black people. Not thaty Tyler Perry doesnt. We just need more who are diverse and different. What happend to John Singletin, Spike Lee and the rest????

I love this song! JHud & Neyo really need to work together more, their voices complement so well & Rick Ross’ verse doesn’t overshadow. As far as her dancing & whatnot – it’s nice to see her working to become a more well rounded entertainer but I’m of the opinion that the singers who don’t move so well shouldn’t force themselves to do what others do.

I don’t consider pure singers boring and don’t need to see them shaking & gyrating through a video in order to appreciate the song – hell hire dancers like they did back in the day to enhance the video!

    I love this song. Period
