People saying she put SOUL into the song within every impefection of this performance: It’s the NATIONAL ANTHEM B**** not some Blues. She needs to pack her throat, go home and CRY. As a stan, you need to be real too, when she sounds like the titanic, don’t make it more fabulous.
PLUS what’s the deal with comparing her to Whitney, Beyoncé and such? Well, singing the Nation Anthem as always been a powerhouse culture, Mary could’ve just said either NO or kept it simple without sounding like a MESS and doing the diva arm-gestures.
Much respect to MJB for still representing her set properly. Now onto the business at hand her version of the SSB was all over the place and it was a real struggle that was not for her.
