Rihanna & Chris Brown: A New Beginning Or the Beginning of the End?

0ee392fe753e7c69d7b75a58e515b096 Rihanna & Chris Brown: A New Beginning Or the Beginning of the End?

Blonde bombshells Rihanna and Chris Brown dropped not one, but two bombs on fans when remixes to their two new singles exploded onto the net today.  Possibly baking up a backlash, their joint ventures – ‘Birthday Cake’ and ‘Turn Up the Music‘ – have certainly turned up something.  What, however, has yet to be fully realized.

Sweeping headlines at this very moment, the two have teased their recorded reunions for the past few weeks.  The hype was introduced when Da Internz, co-producers of the sizzling Rihanna interlude, first informed fans the number would be revamped into a full length song and its tapped co-star would “shock the world”.

And, though spectators later put the clues together, many wrote the speculation off as mere ‘publicity stunts’ given the severity of the incident that tore them apart just three years prior.  Said incident also led Brown to a near blacklisting, causing the failure of his ‘Graffiti’ album that same year.

Fast forward – both singers’ careers were undoubtedly changed by the incident.  Even for better or worse, both Ri and Brown now see themselves at the top of their respective games.  After Billboard urged the songstress not to collaborate with Chris, could this stunt be a publicity stunt that went a few steps too far?

Some may argue that Brown nor Fenty had to be in the same physical location to record the songs.  While true, that does not consider promotion of the songs (which the publicity alone will do), acceptance of prospective award nominations/wins, nor any potential live performances.

Once the posterchild for domestic violence, will the legions of fans Ri won over with her self proclaimed strength and return to music feel betrayed by this reunion?  Or is it simply time to move on and allow their personal lives and relationships be just that…personal? The reunion, as we all speculated, was going to happen one way or the other.  But, is it too soon?

For two of the hottest tracks to surface in some time, this heat – this firestorm of publicity that will surround the tracks, will come at a burning price.  Rihanna is playing ‘Russian Roulette’ with her career.

Is this a new beginning?  Or the beginning of the end for both stars?

Your thoughts?

I don’t see the big deal. These two are entainers and this is entertaining. On the other had this may be RiRi saying “I forgive Chris” which I think is great and we should do the same.

These two are such losers. They see themselves as being so cool/hawt, but look how hard they try. F*ck sad. It’ll Help Chris, but Rihanna is rather quickly sliding into Ke$ha-ville. If Rihanna was an artist and not a marketing team, this might be a break through. But since she’s not personally artistic, it just shows shes a statistic; another abused women moulded to think she can’t do any better. She’s sad. He’s talented tho.

It might be, but the songs are fluff/electronic dance sh*t. Maybe if it were a powerful balled, or something with an actual message, but it’s not. It’s just s*** music (which is fun, not saying it’s not fun), but it’s nothing powerful. Rihanna’s a fool who has no control over her career and did it for either the pay check, or because she’s still loves Chris and wants to get it back. Either way. Let ppl live their lives, but I sure as hell don’t want my 15 year old sister lookin at dis h** thinkin’ she’s something special or a role model. Cause she ain’t. She’s weak.

The thing that makes me mad is the fact that Rihanna made the whole situation SUCH a big deal during the Rated R era and now she has turned around and collaborated with him. I really think this can harm her career because to be honest a lot of people started liking her more after she got beat up, she was looked at as a victim. The people that were once behind her because of the domestic violence situation will now not support her anymore because they look at her as a hypocrite.

In a positive light it should elevate both their careers…it shows that they are mature and have moved on. I don’t know why people are constantly referring to him as an abuser…this incident only occur once. If she was to go back and it happen again than you all can categorize him as an abuser. It’s obvious that he may have learned and she did as well. Let them live their life and enjoy what they do…make music and luv each other!!! No relationship or anyone is perfect, we live, learn, and move on…wisdom is the key t o life, which is develop through understanding and experiences!!!

Sam, if you really have to ask that question you need only wait till tomorrow when all the talk shows start in.

ALL the people who interviewed her, ALL the talk shows that discussed abuse, ALL the claims she made about not wanting to influence any other girl.

Boy, they will put her head with that shaggy blond head on a pike. Shaking my head, but if you follow Twitter Rihanna and Chris both come off as lacking in the intelligence department so I can hardly be that shocked.

I thought someone would hold her (at least since she had the protection of victim status) back from doing this but maybe Roc Nation wants her to crash and burn. They are signing Rita Oro and Ri hasn’t given them a #1 album yet.

All I know is I’m going to be eating popcorn through this whole mess.

Their decision to collaborate on music will cause a stir for a minute, but inevitably will force people to move on. It is 2012 not 2009, the media and blogs sites are so far behind the curve. Are they a couple, no. Friends, yes. About their business, always. The music is on point for both artists and remixes!

If Rihanna (the victim) can forgive why can’t the public forgive him also. What is going to happen when he is 30 or 40? Is he still going to be scrutinized for something he did in his late teens? I’m not saying forget, but it is good to forgive him and use what happened as a caution for his future relationships and a strong sign he needs help for anger management (ie he gets heated quick). I’ve always wondered why I never heard any counselors reach out publicly to help Chris for his problems just a bunch of haters that put him down but do not offer him any advice or help.

    I never liked Rihanna.

Her music is extremely wack and useless, she is not talented in any way shape or form, her voice sounds annoying to my ears.

Rihanna always came across as very stupid, in my opinion. This abomination of a remix just helps to confirm the fact that Rihanna is indeed a dumb, empty-headed person. In her mind though… Rihanna probably thinks she’s being so edgy and controversial in a cool, awesome way…

This remix is nothing but an ugly, embarrassing catastrophe.

Rihanna and Chris Brown are both desperate imbeciles. They both probably suffer from some severe mental problem, also.

^Likewise. I just don’t use self inflicted f**** especially with stubbornness attached.

..and I agree with most you said cept the RocNation wanting her to crash and burn. Lets be honest she is the only sure success they have..or had on the roster. No one else besides Jay was doing anything for them.

All ends up I just think they are beyond incompetent.I think they were operating under the adage all publicity being good and are unaware of the huge s*** they just stepped in.

In her case I think she wanted the track out of rebellion in her mind of peeps wanting her to hate him forever, which she doesn’t and that’s fine no f**** to give about that. Just don’t be silly and not think you wont not crucified to mars and back especially cause of the song you chose collaborate on.

As I said the era is over. The thing is the album had about 2 more sure 1s, “Where have you been” was a sure fire no. Oh well.

Rihanna is officially done! She did an interview talking about how badly he beat her every chance she got and how she wanted to be a role model for young girls to get away from their abusers…yet she does two duets with hers. She is dumb as hell and when he beats her til she blacks out again we will be have “Funeral Cake” instead of “Birthday Cake”. As for Chris Brown, he comes out of this situation like the pimp b/c he whooped her ass and still gets to sing with her…on her end this just looks ridiculous. Domestic Violence is not funny–I have had a close relative die at the hands of her boyfriend and everybody told her he was a “good man” and to go back to him….there may not be a next time for a lot of women there certainly wasnt one for my cousin. Do not think because CB is cute and talented that we should “get over it”.

I was over the situation a long time ago. He is living his life, making music winning a grammy and not a f*** was given on my end. Does he still have anger issues? Yes Are you downplaying what he did to her? Yes. But I honestly harbor or hold no resentment towards him cause she forgave him. I mean was pretty much fully over it and pretty much indifferent to him and his career.

…..then the rumors of this remix started up.

I’m one to always look at the optics when it comes to myself in general and anyone I care about. The optics in this case are f***** up royally for my fave. I frankly don’t care what anyone says otherwise. If you examine this situation all ends up there is only one loser here. Then you’d have to ask the question why would I want my fave to lose? Even if her intentions were to show the world its time to move on baby girl on a song like Cake? Just makes no sense.

I gave props to his team all night cause the only winner in this situation is him. His fanbase the same ones begging him to beat them on twitter will say, “See? Chris was the victim all along!” “Bee knew that s***”

The media will tear her limb from limb. Does it pleasure me to say this? Nope, but it is what it is at this point. I cant change a thing just like I cant change the backlash that’s coming and its not really harsh its being pretty realistic tbh. We’ll see how they handle it. #kanyeshrug

What’s so f***** up is that, none of you can see that, if Rhianna, Or CB gave a f*** about you her fan base, she wouldn’t even go near this guy! Yes it was the past, yes she is grown and can do whatever she wants, but as her fans, she is saying f*** you, keep buying my s***! I hope that a protest comes, as a result as her actions, And yet we buy things from you, people spend their hard earned change to make you richer! This is not a post about gossip, this is a post about how these artist don’t care about the music, but making more money! Yes this is their job, but at the same time you have power, influence over people, and yet you tell people to kiss your ass??? Well if the public would stop buying your poisonous music, then maybe your tune would change! I understand these are two grown adults but yet Rhianna you really state how you feel to your females fans by letting this clown back in your life!! She can forgive him, but baby girl your career is about to drop off the face of the earth, because to be completely honest you never could sing in the first place, keep it 100%!!!!! Has she once even taken the time to address domestic violence issues, has she once taken the time to visit other battered women that have gone through similar situations!! This girl her really has pissed me off, him too!!! But yet people like phoney ass artist!! So sad, and most of you let your children look up to these fools!! This is sad, with Whitney gone, how in the f*** can we just let s*** music like this continued to get played???!

Btw never said he snapped for no reason and she isn’t a saint, but it still doesn’t defend how much he went in on her that night. It’s also understandable why when a man beats a woman like that some would consider him a monster.

I don’t have twitter either but saw the tweets his fans made on another blog. Sam ofc wouldn’t post them cause he is a CB stan. By victim I simply mean how he acts like how dare people even remember the incident even occurred. Smashing windows @ GMA interview, f****** up the studio, constant clownish twitter rants etc. Like it or not people some wont just wake up and forget the incident happened. It will forever haunt him and his explosions are purebred victimized behavior, which isn’t justified.

I’m not gonna rehash the night anymore. I’m over it. His fans will believe people are too harsh on him and some others will think he is a monster. It is what it is.

yes i think it was stupid of him to through a chair out of a window….

ive said many times chris has alot of anger issues..i’m not making excuses for his action….

he has apologized over and over again for what happen that night, he took all the blame, never said anything negative about rihanna..he paid his dues..for the rest of his life hes going to be known as a monster…which is unfair….because it was a fight wich rihanna lost..

what else would u like him to do?

the only person that needs to forgive him, is rihanna, and she has..if rihanna has move on, why cant her fans move on..

This is only gonna serve to hurt Rihanna. Like I said from talk shows from “the view” to the evening news to oprah herself, I see thi s*** blowing up in Rih’s face.

Why would Chris be blamed? It’s gonna seem like Rihanna is “going back for more”. That’s the way it will be spun, and I already see the witch hunt with parent/decency councils, and burning of CDs and photos. All at Rih’s expense.

Like @Whut said this is genius on the part of team breezy! I’m also indifferent to him. If the want to f*** fine. But she is showing herself to be a hypocrite for the words she spoke on 20/20 about not wanting to be responsible for other girls deaths. They are watching you, and how you pulled this 180.

I don’t know no matter what she comes out smelling like s***. And the dude gets high fives.

I’ve seen this movie before, but with different casts through the years…..

To answer the question, only time will tell.

But what I’m getting from what Chris and Rihanna, it’s that they are not in for legendary status. “They just want to make music and money”, as they would say.

Rihanna was on her way to get rid of the “beaten girlfriend” image but she ruined Jay-Z’s and Roc Nation’s efforts in 24 hours.

Chris Brown’s career will never be what it was during his ‘Forever’ days but since he can’t even sing anymore, I guess his plan is to make all the $$$ he can before he gets too old or before somebody takes his spot.

Right now, they are 24 and 22, they are at the top of their game, so let them be. But those celebrities need to understand is: YOU CAN’T f*** WITH THE MEDIA. Famewhoring with the media ALWAYS backfires.

Britney Spears did it when she was with K-Fed, it backfired.
Jennifer Lopez did it when she was dating Ben Affleck , it backfired.
Beyonce (although she’s my fave) did it by showing her belly at the VMAs, it backfired.
Michael Jackson did it during the 90s, it backfired.
Lady Di did it when she started dating Dodi, it backfired, to say the least.

Chris and Rihanna, I don’t care about the nonsense you’re tweeting, you CAN’T f_ck the media. Don’t try to reinvent the wheel. Your lambo fight is OFFICIALLY pop culture now. Since you don’t care, the media will milk on it, regardless of your feelings and your fanbases.

You both made your relationship the highlight of your careers, what Britney and Justin refused to do. Let’s see how it’s gonna work.

I have never been abused, never nad if i was a victim I would never make a song with the person who did that. She should show the forgiving part but the messages and the rumors are now proven true. She has had sexual intercourse with chris since the incident and i will nto be naive about it. She doesn’t care about her fans but her money”mind on my money, money on my mind”
With that being said how can someone like that influence or inspire you to be a better individual?

I don’t think Chris is a good guy, (I want him to be) but i fear that he is not.
In 2009 he beat up his girlfriend. In 2012 disrespects his current girlfriend in a major fashion all over Twitter and all over his music. And in between all of this he has b**** fits on twitter and during interviews.
Karrueche needs to leave his ass and Rihanna needs to move on (in all aspects) now that she has forgiven him, be happy with someone that deserves her.

Once you have signed on the dotted line say goodbye to your life beacuse as long as they are giving you album advancement checks, are booking you on shows, getting you one the cover of magazines then you better kiss their ass.

Rihanna got to were she is now thanks to a powerful marketing team NOT HER TALENT. She pretty much spat in their faces. Be careful Rihanna….If the kitchen was to hot for you to begin with you could have stayed at home instead of sucking and jiving with Jay Z…

You can’t just END a relationship over night (regardless of u getting your ass beat or not). I’m not a big fan of either, but I’m sure something happened in that car that we will never know about. Rihanna was coached HEAVILY during that time. I’m sure lawyers and publicists from both sides made deals to save Rihanna’s image. It sucks that people are comparing her to Tina turner. She was not beat constantly. It happened once. I’m not for domestic violence, but Rihanna clearly did something to that guy. Soooooooo with that being said, I prefer the Cake snippet to the remix lol. I love CB’s song.

I don’t blame you and others that are over her tho. Coming to a site like this, going hard in the paint and heck maybe even changing a perception or two along the way only for your fave to undo do it all in one night is pretty much what’s happen. It’s win to lose in an instant and all self inflicted.

I’m not even mad tho tbh. Made my stance on the whole thing clear and could see the obvious backlash all in her direction so just watching it come to past now. Take a look a the sites so far and see who everyone is taking apart. The only thing that’s is semi-annoying is this mess coming off the back of what was by all accounts a smash Grammy performance and fashion showing. Thought the era was about to kick into full gear and now its done already. #kanyeshrug.

Rihanna’s report on what happened that night and her Actions are Conflicting. I know Chris beat her and he is wrong for that, but what really happened that night? She lied about something else!
    -
Who in their right mind, when they have protection from a Court and Bodyguards around them 24/7 lowers that Order and reunites with the person who Beat them, all along singing songs about S&M and liking that kind of s** and treatment.
    -
I say Rihanna’s guilt from lying about the events that surrounded the beating Consumed her and she is back with Chris 2 yrs earlier than the Court had advised! I think she regrets that the Police got involved but she has wanted Chris back from the day she went back with him by P Diddy’s house but it wud have been Career Suicide!
    -
Open ur eyes and see her trends and actions. She Reached out to Chris repeatedly. I hope Chris knows that if he chooses to cheat on her again or stay with Karucche and Rihanna cries Wolf, he is going to Prison so He has a lot more to Lose than Rihanna, since she is the person we know as the Victim.

First off both songs SUCK! Very bad decision to collaborate. If they were going to do this they should of started with a BET or MTV special in which they discussed what happened, how they got over it, and forgiveness and s***. Of course Chris can’t do it because he has a bad temper and he might have threw a chair and broke a window. Again. They are both in their 20s, they are rich, life is very fast pace around them and they think they got life down to a science. Wrong wrong wrong. I want to know who is Rihanna’s PR team because they need to be fired. Her star has dwindled as soon as these songs dropped. Does she realize how big of a star she is? How the young world idolizes her? Bad move baby girl. You got a lot to learn. His Grammy was for his music and for ratings not to reconnect on a professional and personal level with you. You will always be a victim to me now. The beating that the media is gonna give you will hurt even more than Chris’ punches, chokes, and bites. Adios.

I feel that her loyalty to her fans and how many feel has been broken for sure and for many others who was sadden when this thing went down But life goes on and only time will tell. I want to say that even though i am a fan of her music WHILE I AM CONCERNED ABOUT HER WELFARE, BUT AS FAR AS I CAN SEE SHE SEEM FINE, JUST FINE. THIS ISN’;T THE ALTER IT’S A FUKKKKKKIN SONGS TWO OF THEM. Why,,,,,Perhaps we will know sooner rather than later. One thing i do know is tham many are bitter, mad and upset , welll me too but not to the point wherer i want stan for her Because i am still TEAM RIHANNA RIDE OR DIE, NO FUKKKKKIN WHAT COME WHAT MAY….Call me a dymmy what ever i just feel that it is time for all of us to move on
and i see this move as not a DUMB MOVE BY RIHANNA BUT BUSINESS, NOTHING MORE , NOTHING LESS.
RIHANNA DID SUFFER At the hands of Chris but if she is willing to FORGIVE AND FORGET THEN SO AM I,,,,Because the good lord is in the BLESSING & FORGIVENESS BUSINESS AND HE WILL FORGIVE US AND SINCE NONE OF US HAVE GOT A HEAVEN OR HELL TO PUT CHRIS OR RIH IN THEN I AM GOING TO RIDE THIS ONE OUT. Because i believe in Rihanna and i know that she have got her reason’s now if they are walking down the isles to say i do then that is a horse of a different color.
AND IF FOR SOME REASON OR ANOTHER THIS END HER CAREER THEN,,,,HER CAREER WASN’T ALL THAT I HAVE THOUGHT IT WAS FROM THE START. There’s many who have done waaaaaaay worst then Chris’s Ass have done and they all still have their Careers, WHY NOT RIHANNA & CHRIS. iF THEY NEED A POSTER CHILD FOR BEAT DOWN’S THEN THERE ARE MANY PEOPLE WHO CAN AND WILL FILL THOSE SHOESW.,,,,,NOW I SIT BACK AND KEEP TAKING CARE OF MY BUSINESS AND KEEP LIVING MY LIFE AND WAIT FOR THE BACKLASH AND FALL OUT,,,THAT IS SURE TO COME… COULD SHE HAVE DID HER SONG WITH A CAZILLION OTHERS,, YES SHE COULD HAVE ALL IS WELL THAT ENDS WELL!!!!!!!!!!

If anything,It’s gonna hurt Rihanna’s career more than it will Chris Brown’s IMO.

Some fans/stans have the right to be angry with Rihanna/Jump ship.It doesn’t make them “fake”.This came as a big f*** YOU from her to some of the stans that supported her during Rated R.

To me,the stans/blogs/media’s anger isn’t about “forgiveness” or their personal lives.Like it or not Chris Brown and Rihanna’s incident was made available to the general public.(Hell,Rihanna and Chris even did interviews annoying about the subject, albeit most of them being annoying).People are not going to get over this especially when they are still turned off by his actions.

If they didn’t want to be concerned about people watching them.Simple.don’t be a star(or be like another unnamed star who keeps her personal life PRIVATE).The fact of the matter is,Yes,Rihanna is still human but the fact still exists that she is in the public eye,and she should be ready for scrutiny, because the Media LOVES to tear people down -Look at Britney and Christina.(Nobody is actually safe from scrutiny IMO)

Also, their attitudes towards the speculation did not help in their case at all. Both of them came off as grumpy on Twitter.

I’m not saying Rihanna shouldn’t forgive Chris.I’m all for second chances and I wish people would stop being so hard on him for everything he does TBH.I’m saying, there could have been much better ways to go about this WITHOUT this coming off as a slap in the face to some of her supporters.

The remixes aren’t necessarily bad IMO (TBH BDAY CAKE WAS HOT) but the world still has the incident in the back of their minds, especially with sites like TMZ leaking s***.

I’m sorry,I might be overthinking it but still……

Sam, who writes this mess..?? The ‘write up’ for this post took a wide, diverting turn into ‘lurid self indulgence’, and away from fact and reality:

1.) “The incident” has done LITTLE TO NOTHING for Rihanna. She’s STILL a “singles artist”, and based on the vast sums then lavished to create, market, and finally bring to store-shelves (ROI), “Rated R” IS an abysmal failure. Do you need reminder that just before ‘Rated R’ was released, and she did that 20/20 Diane Sawyer interview, OVER 8-Million supposedly sympathetic and curious “discretionary spending consumers” watched her – 8.2-Million to be exact?

2.) “But, is it too soon?” <– Another DUMB question! Sam/TGJ, "We found love" was whole-cut based on "Feb 8th 2009 Chrianna" – complete with Chris Brown look-a-like as seen in the video. And given the success of THAT single – WE'VE ALL ALREADY MOVED ON!

Sam, hadn't you noticed that "WE", those of the NEW Paradigm: Urban Blogosphere have ALREADY ruled on the matter of "The World vs. Chris Brown/Chrianna": MOVE THE f*** ON ALREADY..!!!

“And as far as Other’s being GROMMED FOR HER SPOT,

For Rihanna, Nicki Minaj has come AND took “her spot”.
For Chris..?? In his “absence” the stage was empty – in stepped ‘Trey Songz’ and ‘Drake’. But ‘F.A.M.E’ was only a taste: “CBreezy 2.0″. ‘F.A.M.E’ was NOT given the budget nor exposure that Drake’s debut was given. That said, ‘Drake’ nor ‘Trey Songz’ weren’t prominently placed in a movie – its marketing, and the actor with the longest screen time – that has now grossed $100-M: “Takers”.

Long-story short: Nicki Minaj has ALREADY replaced Rihanna. And, as for Chris, there’s NO ONE UPON THE POP-CULTURE LANDSCAPE LIKE HIM – NO ONE..!!

And yet-most curious of all: the fact that BillBoard can wag their fingers and tell us where to spend our monies. As far as Chris: “WE”, who really matter, COULDN’T CARE LESS ‘BOUT BILLBOARD NOR ANYONE ELSE. WE’VE ALREADY READ ALL THERE IS TO READ ‘BOUT FEB 8th, 2009 AND NOW KNOWS JUST WHO IS TO BLAME: RIHANNA..!!

TIME WILL TELL THE TRUE OUT COME OF THIS MOVE THAT IS SEEN BY MANY WHO SUPPORTS THEM BOTH AS THE SINGLE MOST STUPID THING THEY COULD HAVE EVER DONE TO THEIR MANY LOYAL FANS,,, I AM UPSET BUT NOT TO THE THROWING IN THE TOWEL STAGE NOT THAT WAY AT ALL,,,,,AWAITING TO SEE THE BACKLASHES BEGAIN AND THEY WILL BE UNFORGIVING AND MERCILESS AND THE HARDEST WILL BE LOGED AGANIST RIHANNA SIMPLY BECAUSE SOCIETY WANT RIHANNA TO FOREVER HATE CHRIS AND STAY MAD AND BE A POSTER CHILD FOR ABUSED PEOPLE AND NOTHING MORE AND NOTHING LESS,,,,,I PRAY THAT THEY LEAVE CHRIS AND RIHANNA THE HELL ALONG AND IF BY CHANCE SHE AND CHRIS EVER VISIT THE ROAD OF FIGHITING AGAIN AND PEOPLE DO NOT SUPPORT EITHER OF THEM THEN WE WILL ALL KNOW WHY!
THEY DESERVES A CHANCE TO CARRY ON IN THE ARTS! PERHAPS NOT THIS WAY BUT HEY WE CAN ALL SEE THEM AND THEY SEEM TO STILL BE LIVING THEIR LIVES,,,AND WHEN THERE IS AWARD TIME AND THEY DON;T
GET AN award for things then we will know why. Often time Rihanna should have gottwn an Award Just like she should have gotten something for her album “Loud” but she did not she came away empty HANDED AND TO ME THAT WAS A FUKKKKKIN BACKLASH AND SHE AND CHRIS HAD NOT COLLABORATED ON JACK s*** DURING THE FUKKKK GRAMMYS, s*** EXPLAIN THAT BULL s*** TO MANY PEOPLE WITH A WORKING BRAIN?????

Since Billboard is supposed to be all of that i just wonder why did they giveRihanna 18 Nods and then not let her Win many what kind of s*** is that? Rihanna has been great with her #1′a and the best in quite a while and she got the Nods but did not take home the Bacon, See Billboard is full of s***, Period. If Rihanna won more #1′s
then any other of the 2000 ’2 then why did’nt she not take the most of the Bacon Home? These award shoiws and Billboard & Grammy’s have got their PICK AND
as far as i and many are concerned they have did a great job of CUTTING RIHANNA BELOW THE BELT WHEN SHE HAVE CLEARLY WON MANY CATAGEROIES OF MUSIC FUKKK THE DUMB……

I love the B-Day Cake remix!

This is Rihanna’s way of telling her fans, and the media to go screw themselves! I think she’s fed up with her stans, and the media trying to dictate her life by telling her what to do and what and who not to be around. It’s been 3 year since the incident, and “White media” and her stans are constantly trying to run her life. How pathetic is that?

The Navy….YOU ARE PATHETIC. The end! Go Rihanna and Chris!

Honestly, this s*** is so damn meaningless!! I could care less, it’s nothing more than a PR stunt to strum up controversy, and gain much needed attention to make up for their lack of talent!! They’re both young, and extremely immature, and it shows greatly, and I’m really too old to care!! Any of you, say 25 & older shouldn’t either!! got a lot of studyong to do…Out!!

my 2 cents: obviously there is no backlash becuz no one CARES!! Her lemmings aka the navy will support her regardless. The rest of the world will continue to not respect her. Let her do as she wants. KAty perry is mounting her #1 singles so th poor girl has to do whateva to get attention since her lack of talent won’t do the trick. JUST IGNORE!!

PR stunt FAIL FLOP on both of their parts.

    @ LAX

Rihanna cheapened herself. I had a lot of criticisms of her before because I didn’t think she was a hard worker with her performances, but now I see that she really only cares about her image of “Bad Gal”. Her and CB aren’t back together. This was a desperate move on both of their parts….but for no reason at all. They were doing fine. Bury the hatchet my ass. It comes off as attention-seeking and it will/has backfired. No one gives a hoot about those songs, and everyone sees through this mess.

CB and Rihanna fans/stans should be done with both of these idiots. They’re immature–running around acting like they’re 17 when they’re 23 and 24. I see now, that they are never going to grow up.

I’m all for forgivness, but Rihanna and Chris have gone about this all wrong, they are being crude and acting like uneducated teenagers. We have to remember Chris Brown didn’t just give Rihanna a little slap, he punched her, bit her, told her he was going to kill her, then left her bleeding and screaming for help in the street., (that’s serious right there). Not only that, but three years later these two seem to be even more imature than they were in 2009, Chris is having major hissy fits on twitter and disrepecting his girlfriend in a major way, whilst Riri is writing “#DoURightHereWhileTheWholeWorldsWatchin” in answer to critisms of their collab. As a female, an adult and unfortunately for her a worldwide superstar, Rih owes it to her younger fan base to explain her descion and her route to forgiveness, because whether she likes it or not she is a role model and if she wanted people to mind there own business she shouldn’t of done the 20/20 interview in the first place and she defo SHOULD NOT be on twitter airing out her business the millions of followers every other hour.
Both acts are adults and no one is saying that they can’t be friends, just keep it classy and remember another heart is involved (Chris’s chick – Krispy kream T)

TRUE,,,But i amd still going to support her because she’s the one who
has to deal with the Backlash just like her Label is getting to go to
war with her and Rightfully so but i am still not going to turn my back on Rihanna
no matter what she does that’s stupid because we can learn from our mistakes
When you throw it out there like she did it EITHER SINK OR SWIM AND THIS IS
A BIG GAMBLE AND I HAVE TO RIDE UNTIL THE TIDE SETTLES DOWN TO SEE
HOW IT ALL PLAYS OUT,,,,RIHANNA’S NAVY ALL THE WAY! I AM OLDER THAN TEN AND HAVE GONE THROUGH THE VALLEY MYSELF IN MY LIFE AND ENDED UP
JUST FINE. This shows that there is real hate out there even for those of us who want to forgive and forget, EVEN THOUGH GOD FORGIVES US A MILLION TIMES!
AND HER LABEL HAS ALREADY TAKEN A STANCE, AND IT SEEMS THE BACKLASH IS IN FULL FORCE,,,I AM GETTING BUCKLED IN AT MY JOB FOR THE LONG HAUL AND THE ROUGH TERRAIN THAT’S COMING UP AHEAD ON THE ROAD TO REDEMPTION FOR RIHANNA AND CHRIS!!!!!!

    Let’s get this right:

I’m NO Nicki Minaj fan. Neither am I a Lady Gaga fan! I think I can safely say, you’ll NEVER find me buying a CD/concert ticket to hear/see either!

That said, facts ARE the “facts”: “Pink Friday” with a mere recent announcement of her coming London tour dates jumped some 94-places on the U.K. Top 100 chart – where it now currently resides at #36.

I said it before, I’ll say it again: Nicki Minaj is T-H-E new “IT GIRL”. Your fave had her 7-year run. “Rated R” was THE “definitive test” for Rihanna/Brand Rihanna, and she FAILD; “Rated R” on purely a ROI (return on investment) basis has FAILED. And lest we for get that she wasn’t heard from UNTIL that Diane Sawyer 20/20 interview which pulled 8-something Million empathizing, curious viewers; STILL, ‘Rated R’ FAILED!

Nicky Minaj will do to Rihanna what she’s ALREADY done to her, here in the U.S., make her irrelevant by dwarfing her CD sales.

Again: I’m NO Nicki Minaj, NOR Lady Gaga fan – not today, not yesterday, not tomorrow – but the facts ARE the “facts”!!
