NEW BEATS PLEASE!…. Kim you need new producers. I know you working with up and coming producers but they not cuttin it. The thing that makes Nicki hot right now, and the whole Young Money team, are their beats. I agree with the other post, this song sounds dated… it sounds like something from 01… i dont even need to hear the rest to know that this song cant compete with what is on the radio. when you here songs like Drake’s Motto, or Take Care, the beats do most of the work. as soon as the song comes on, you wanna dance. thats what you need Kim. Hot producers. Its hard to write good songs to whack beats. I have heard better beats on Soundclick to be honest. Please I beg you to invest in better beats!!!
Your previous work should not sound better then your current work. That means you’re not growing or something needs to be changed. I miss songs like “I Came Back For You”… Thats the Kim Im waiting on. You rapped and sang on the hook and that song was FIYAH!!! the new singing that you’re doing with the autotune sounds like you tryna be Nicki. Kim do YOU!!! but most importantly you need a new producer. They dont have to be known producers but you need producers with fresh beats.
I know what the problem is. the producers youre working with are probably from NY or up north somewhere. Cuz all the stuff you released sounds like dated New York beats from the early 2000′s. that era is dead… Im sorry but you need some down south producers. You need some thump in your beats. You need beats that sound inspiring.. the beats you’re using sound like something Fat Joe used back in the day. You know the beat is hot when everybody wants to redo your song and put it on their mixtape…. and I honestly cant hear anyone wanting to rap on these beats you’re using. I love you Kim.
