New Song: Estelle – ‘International (Ft Trey Songz & Chris Brown)’

Published: Saturday 11th Feb 2012 by David

Estelle is in a cocky mood.

Indeed, on her latest cut ‘International’ featuring Chris Brown and Trey Songz, the ‘1980’ belle gets all kinds of bragadocious in support of her new album ‘All Of Me‘.

Listen up below…

Oh Estelle. How we love her so.

Yet, as long time supports, we’d be lying if we said this moved us. From the played ‘gettin’ money so don’t hate on me‘ vibe to its generic beat, this ‘ratchet’ sound she was going for does nothing to help her cause, creatively or commercially.

Because, judging from the positive response garnered from ‘Back To Love’, that is the sound she should be capitalizing on.

Either way, we can’t wait to hear the rest of ‘All Of Me‘ and hope the rest of it is just as good as we hope it is.

Your thoughts?

    This is why she can’t win s***, always trying to fit the f*** in! Trey, CB, have yet to win a Grammy, yet people complain, when they don’t win!! Well if she made an album with real singing then , maybe she would get the recognition she deserve!!! I like Estelle, but if she continues to work with art like them, her career is dead!!! Somebody is going to say that this s*** is hot, but in reality, this “ROBOT SOUND” is why people are not buy albums anymore!! They just don’t f****** get!! That is why Adele says winning!!!

    getting really sick of these thrown together “collaborations” that feature people woh add NOTHING to the song. Estelle sounds HOTT and carries hte song by herself, she doens’t need a rapper. Same with “Motivation” and all Rihanna’s rap features execpt “Hard” that was hott. BeYAWNce’s “Party” did NOT need Andre3000 or J. Cole she was running that track by herself. It’s time for black women to stand up and quit thinking they need to features rappers all the damn time. At least put them on the remix or something. LEAVE THE ALBUM VERSION ALONE!!!!!!!!!!!!

    This is a b-side song. The game changed and mature women (or women who look mature) need to focus on what will sell… she seems too old for this. After the MJB inspired Thank you where does this fit?

    @A Nu Day Has Come

    LOL you sound crazy! Trey Songz and Chris Brown are on two different levels! If Trey is ever nominated let alone win has nothing at all to do with Chris Brown. Hell neither does the success of lack thereof of Estelle. This is the song she wanted to offer so trying to blame others for it is ridiculous. if she listened to this and like it , who are you to judge? Simple don’t purchase it; see your problem is solved.

    As for Breezy, he will be collecting his hardware come tomorrow! Perpare to suffer while you’re betting against Chris and his Grammy! Win or lose Chris Brown will alwaye shine. His success is not tethered to media acceptance or an award like others!

    Psss….. Adele is a white, English female, she will always be placed above Estelle regardless of Estelles talent and who she elects to work with in the industry! Snap out of the fairy tale or delusion you are under!

    #Fail

    I love Estelle’s last album, this is so tacky and having CB and Trey just make it worse. Next!!!!

    What is wrong with everyone. This song is crazy! It’s fun. Everyone gets so boggged down in being serious and artsy, we still need tunes to just let loose and yes, get ‘ratchet’ to.
