April 11th marks the release of ‘Battleship‘, starring none other than Island model Rihanna.
Taking to the UK last week in support of the flick, last night saw her touch down in Japan for the same reason, days after chart rival Nicki Minaj graced the country in aid of her new LP, ‘Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded‘.

That means, atop the $200-Million of the already known production cost/budget, and the expected “get-to-theater” cost of 2X that, of the “production cost/budget”, which equals $400-Million, “Battleship” now has a total/final cost of approximately $450-Million..!!
..And what does ALL of that mean? Well, it means that “Battleship”, in order for it NOT to be considered a “failure” will have to return $450 x 1.45 = $650.5-Million.
..Remember, that’s OVER 1/2 BILLION DOLLARS NOT TO BE CONSIDERED A FAILURE..!! Domestically, “Battleship” is predicted to do $125-Million. So, in order for it NOT to be considered a “failure”, it’ll have to return $527.5-Million from foreign screens.
..In order for it to be a “success”, “Battleship” will have to return 1.75 x known/final($450-Million) costs = $787.5-Million..!!
If the “Rihanna Navy and Camp-Fenty” aren’t willing to buy her CD, as compared to her singles, then how are they to be expected to come-up with the 12-$15 for the cost of a movie ticket to see her..??

More proof to reveal your idiocy: during her recent “Battleship” promotion event, the one in which Rihanna didn’t want to talk about her personal life. The ITV reporter even made mention the fact that she had millions of twitter fans and them possibly coming out to support the film.
As said, “Battleship” is projected to do $125-Million domestic U.S. . But with its budget now inflated to $450-Million, in order for it to NOT TO FAIL, it has to return $527.5-Million from foreign screens.
..THATS JUST OVER ONE-HALF BILLION DOLLARS..!! (with Europe now slowing, with some parts now forecast to drift into recession, that’ll mean the dollar increasing. “Battleship” producers will take another hit when exchanging those monies BACK into U.S. dollars)

She was given this role by the producers, who’d then hoped for HER fans would then support this film. If it fails, as all indications suggests it will – EPICALLY, BIBLICALLY SO – who better than someone who is NOT an actor, someone who you’ll never again work with in a film to THEM blame; who else will then be more, or as convenient? Rihanna, of course.
