New Song: Tulisa – ‘We Are Young’ (Debut Single)

Published: Friday 23rd Mar 2012 by Sam

X Factor and Ndubz star Tulisa attempts to rebrand as a solo force with her debut single ‘We Are Young’.

Produced by former bandmate, Fazer, ‘Young’ serves as the lead track from the Londoner’s as yet untitled first album, the recording of which has seen her hit the studio with US hitmakers The-Dream and Rico Love.

How does the 22 year old fare? Find out after the jump…

Via PB:

Diet Coke ‘We Found Love’ much?

From the melodic composition, to the shouty chorus, to the overall production, Tulisa and co clearly has Rihanna‘s smash on the mind.

And with good reason too. For, like Fenty, the former N Dubz maven lacks in discernible talent (see: nasal vocal throughout entire song). Hence, her desired success hinges on riding musical trends and hoping for the best. Viewed this way, one can almost enjoy the cut, which aside from the above-mentioned, isn’t actually “offensive”. Can’t wait to see her replicate this live, though!

God, why are you so pressed?

I don’t like the song either, but if there’s one thing that’s good about it, it is her squeaky clean vocals. She can sing – not incredibly by any stretch – but well enough. So stop hating because you’re still pressed about the whole Misha thing that was actually 90% Louis’ fault.

I see it now “this is the time, to launch the 1st single. We have the public feeling sorry for you and admiring the dignity it took to admit it was you on tape. We have them in the palm of our hands”. I’m disgusted, the length this new generation of stars will go to manipulate opinions and generate attention. It’s sad that people will go out and support this woman who so clearly has orchestrated every column inch she has received (including this s** tape). I would not be surprised if she (and the guy) conspired to get both attention for him and support for her.

Watch the show that Sanaa Lathan & T.I just signed up for. Gives you great insight into how the minds of politicians and today’s celebrities work when it comes to spin stories. You’d be surprised how close to the truth it really is, and make you see past the stories you read and hear.

For a site that is soooooooo HUNGRY for news, im actually suprised you didnt report about her s** tape, yet you are promoting her stuff as if nothing happened. (not even a mention)
Yet if it was…. lets say RIHANNA! you would of reported before its existance and put her on blast for it. Come on TGJ you cant pick and choose please repot fairly and equally.
