For many, ‘Motivation’ served as Kelly Rowland‘s solo break-out hit; a stance its Platinum sales and Grammy nomination lends ample credence to.
So, in keeping her momentum afloat, the 31 year old has been hard at work conjuring up her 4th studio album and has lined up an All-Star cast of hitmakers to help her – the latest being Rodney ‘Darkchild’ Jerkins.

The ‘Lose My Breath’ producer confirmed on Twitter this week that he and Rowland are to reunite in the studio next week.
Their last outing was on 2011’s ‘Here I Am’, with cuts ‘Turn It Up’ and ‘Work It Man’.
Jerkins joins the likes of Rico Love, Da Internz, The Runners, and Diane Warren as names drafted in to cook-up hits for the as-yet-untitled project.

Safe to say, the 40-something-year-old Kelly Rowland will NOT be seen come 2012 X-Factor U.K. ..!!

I’m pretty sure none of her people like her, why else would they have made such a mess of two huge opportunities last year? her manager is TERRIBLE!!! and Kelly needs to find herself some confidence, a better vocal coach, some character in her voice, some personality, a better creative team and be less naive before she thinking about an album. She lost whole lot of respect with with the quality of that last album, her live performances were uninspiring and her poor judging stint on X Factor live shows and it will take a complete work of God to get people interested again.
She is very much like Brandy, she has no confidence or clue who she is, no strength of character and it shows. Now a days people buy into the character, and unless you’re Taylor swift or one of those Nickelodeon kids the good girl is no longer appealing after 20, they want someone with a fierce personality, fun and driven. Kelly doesn’t seem to have that.

I wasn’t a fan of Kelly before I heard her amazing cover of mc’s fantasy live. Holy crap. If she spent more time practicing her vocals she could easily be badder than beyonce cuz lets face it.
