Speaking to Kiss FM, she revealed exclusively:
“Starships! You guys- it’s coming in a few days. It’s done today- we just gotta turn it in and the networks will look and see if they have to take anything out, so hopefully Tuesday- Wednesday. Wednesday by the latest”
As the saying goes, better late than never.
Yes, while her LP would have landed an extra 50k in first week numbers had the clip been released then, releasing it this week is sure to keep it within the US Top 5 for a third week- driving sales consistently.
After all, with ‘Va Va Voom’, ‘Pound The Alarm’, ‘Whip It’ and ‘Automatic’ just waiting for their releases, Nicki can afford to take her time on a video tip, launching new ones whenever the project seems to be losing steam.
