I’ve pre-ordered this album since last year December when she announced the date, 7 days until New Life!!!
NEW LIFE April 10!!!!
A few hits but mostly its stale and boring…….. she’ll never top Miss Thang, Boy Is Mine or Still Standing. This album sounds like a cross between After The Storm & Makings Of Me with like 3 classic Monica songs. I dont hear any hits which she usually delivers. EHH Melanie Fiona’s album was a disappointment as well.
I can’t believe I’m anticipating Amerie’s Prelude & Brandy’s TwoEleven more than the albums from actual vocal powerhouses…. I guess bigger things come in smaller packages.

I really like Monica and I’m a fan of her voice. But as a whole this gets stuck in the same place/sound. Which is probably because Rico produced the majority of the album. Where’s Missy? After hearing the rest of the songs my favorite is still Until It’s Gone.
This is terrible not one good song on it. The production is so dull. Everything about this album is blah Canceling my pre-order. R&B is dead.
