With her upcoming movie ‘Battleship’ due out April 11th, Rihanna took to Elle this month for a very telling interview in aid of the film.
Indeed, in what is to be expected in a Rihanna interview the issue of Chris Brown arose, weeks after the pair reunited on two new songs.
Her comments below…
On their reunion, she confessed:
It’s like, one less skeleton in the closet, one less burden, one less secret; now you know that, so you can say what you want about it. I don’t have anything to hide.
I respect what other people have to say. The bottom line is that everyone thinks differently. It’s very hard for me to accept, but I get it. People end up wasting their time on the blogs or whatever, ranting away, and that’s all right. I don’t hate them for it.
I’m still going to do what I want to do.
As we’ve said before, Rihanna has the right to talk to whomever she chooses- even if it is to her detriment.
Yes, though her decision to welcome Brown is sure to have rubbed ROC bosses the wrong way (after bending over backwards to aid her right after the assault), we can’t but commend Fenty for being open about and sticking to her choices.
However, whether her fans choose to admit it, this will sting her.
Why?
Because unless the birth of Blue Ivy has softened him up a little, we doubt Jay Z will take too kindly to being undermined. That is- if he advised against the collabs to begin with.

Rihanna is letting everyone know that she is in charge of her career and personal life, she is not being dictated anymore. I think Rihanna wants people to move on from the incident and by her doing those songs, she probably thought that people would finally move on from 2009, but instead they recieved a back lash. Its crazy out of all of the celebrities in the world, Rihanna is the only person they are trying to dictate her life for her and who she should deal with. There were other celebrities that commited DV for years and people still supported them. Now some of Rihanna fans is refusing to support her if she deal with CB, I think it is crazy, because what happen to you liking her for her music not who she is friends with. You can wish her happiness and the best for her personal life, but I think that is were you should draw the line. No one should tell her who she can be friends with, even if they think its a mistake, its her life and her mistake. I am a huge CB fan and I know he is great person that made a mistake, but the outside world doesn’t see this. I wish CB would do interviews and open up so people who don’t follow him and don’t know him can see the human side and great person he is. But I do believe that Rihanna should be able to make her own choices on who she associate with, not the media, fans, and the public.

CB gets attack so much on blogs and when he appears at an award show, I think she trying to show the world that she forgave him, so why are you still stuck in the past and still mad. When a drug addict over comes drugs and turn their lives around for the better, we applaud that person, But when it comes to CB, the public will not let him continue on with his life and learn from his mistake. He haven’t had no altercation with DV since then, but the world labels him as a woman beater. Its really a sad situation for him and he’s young and have a whole lot of growing and learning to do.

The gross of a movie does affect the box office value of an actor for eg if u the highly paid n then have to flop movies back to back. For ur next deal u’ll be offered a lesser fee. Public image also counts vanessa hudgens was paid less in HSM3 becuz of the leaked photo fiasco. It might not matter too much with Ri cuz she’s not considered an actor actor yet. I believe she’s already signed to be in another flick filming this year

He only recovered because he, in late 2010 (circa the release of that video of him picking-up groupies outside a L.A. club), had broken-up with Rihanna, and was then "toxic-free".
The aforementioned are but a few reasons for the, according to you, "hate" against/for Rihanna.
