Soulful contralto Toni Braxton stopped by The Wendy Williams Show today to plug her latest projects.
As ever, Wendy didn’t hold back – quizzing the singer on everything from her new album, to her son’s Autism, to the persistent rumours that she’s to leave We tv hit, ‘Braxton Family Values’. The latter saw the ‘Unbreak My Heart’ singer offer quite the “interesting” response.

As ardent supporters of Toni’s talent (be it on the charts or TV), we respect her seeming decision. Although, surely a “story-line” or even spin-off show that’d focus on her return to music would be a good look? It worked for Monica (see: ‘Still Standing’).

I think she should keep the long weave and stay on the show to promote her new album. Unfortunately Toni has a long history of leaving project right when they are doing well, mostly because of health, but this time I don’t think she should leave because despite the invasion on privacy the show is helping her and her sisters with promotion and a steady check. Maybe she should talk to some of the other realty stars in ATL and LA. Yes, there is an “invasion” during the months filmed but usually that is only 3-4 months out of the 12 month year so there is plenty of time to be private when they are not filming. Also since she is going independent, those artists need as much promotion as possible so there is no reason to leave.

yeah right! She is not going anywhere. That is her only source of income besides playing at casinos. Ms Toni is trying to create buzz or some noise.

To be honest, I only watch BFV for her sisters, I can’t stand Toni anymore cause of the way she been acting on the show, and for real, she ain’t no TV material, boring as fuck. Tamar, Traci, Towanda & Trina bring the laughs, Toni to me is the outsider, let her do a shitty album, her single is a flop, the video is cheap, and gurl can’t keep a good wig. BOOM !

Kaay Bee you only watch the show for her sisters, but a lot of others watch the show for Toni. Not every one likes drama like you, and not every family has a dramatic person. You should watch her on revolution, definitely not boring, and by the way you seems way too insecure. Kaay get it together, its a reality show

toni is level headed and sensible and lays out good advice somewhat like their mother. i hope she stays on the show. she’s a major contrast in a good way. it’s nice to have someone who’s not a drama queen.
her voice is still awesome!! hope enough people can dig their heads out of the bubblegum pop world to appreciate truly good music. good luck with your new album toni!!!

What y’all don’t seem to get is that Toni still performs a lot of concerts and does a lot of travelling. I can understand how doing a reality show, working a new album and touring would be too much for anybody. She’s a mama to two boys and still has to deal with lupus. Sometimes a hoe just wanna be left alone with some peace and quiet.

I think Toni should leave the show. She doesn’t need the show to promote herself. She’s had fame and Grammys for years. I think they slow her down. They were never successful in their music careers and now they want to slow her down to their level with a tv show with a childlike char like Tamar. I can’t stand watching her. I actually change the channel when she comes on. She wants to be Toni. Very jealous of her and tries to put her down. What has Tamar done to deserve a show? I don’t find her funny. Maybe fake and a user. Her show will flop. I agree. Give Toni a spinoff bringing back her career. Tamar and Vince used their pull to get a show. It’s probably worse than ice t and coco and Lamar and kloe. Only Bethany has a show where it has an educated mature self made millionaire. Not whores living off men. So give Toni a show and I’ll watch. But Toni get the hell away from your sisters. They are users and wanna bees. They were rejected 20 years ago by baby face and they’re still rejects. Toni go sing and perform!
