R&B diva Kelly Rowland took a brief break from recording her fourth studio album to host the launch event for Grey Goose‘s Cherry Noir in New York City last night.
The songstress, who won Top R&B song for ‘Motivation’ at last week’s Billboard Music Awards, turned heads in red at the event, which was also attended by friend and model Jessica White.

Not here for the dress. But oh my gawd, she looks drop dead gorgeous! She’s giving me high fashion haute couture chocolate skin realness. I know she choose to have short hair during the DC days to stand out but it’s clear that the long locks look much better. If you don’t think she looks amazing you’re just a hater.

The almost-40-something-year-old Kelly Rowland has, by now, perfected this “suffering-defeat-in-elegant-style” look; I think we’d all agree , yes?
How effortless, how graceful she makes it all work. She seems to glide above it all..
..but further, deeper inspection then uncovers, and then reveals Kelly Rowland: an entire career of ‘seamless’ “upwards failure”. Kelly Rowland’s career is one of repetitive failure. Cycles of squandered opportunities, measured in GHZ(Giga Hertz), then chronicled, for now a whole decade as ‘solo artist’.
It must be something to have to depend on spin, rumor, speculation, short memories, and the even shorter attention spans of the ‘gullible and ignorant’ to be the foundation of your career. But when you’re absent of any discernible talents, when you’re not in possession of that priceless “IT” factor, you’re left with the sobering realization that you’ve learned NOTHING after decades spent as the life-sized “human cardboard cut-out” for one of the MOST dynamic stage performers to sing and dance around, you then must reach for any lifeline, no matter however ratchet.
