Hot Shots: Madonna Covers Vanity Fair Italia, Drops ‘MDNA’ Tour Trailer

‘Vogue’ vixen Madonna strikes quite the pose on the latest issue of ‘Vanity Fair Italia’.  The magazine, which has seen Madge as its covergirl eight previous times, hit newsstands yesterday.  But, while the promoting her first fragrance ‘Truth Or Dare’, the singer’s latest effort ‘MDNA’ dropped down the charts faster than the ‘Holiday’ hitmaker has shed her clothes in years past, that hasn’t veered the 53-year-old pop queen from pressing forward promoting its accompanying tour.

A tour, mind you, which had already grossed over $200 million in pre-sales in mid-April.  Ka-ching!  Check out the trailer  and more pics from the Vanity Fair set below:

The eight page spread in the magazine, consisting mostly of photos taken from the singer’s fragrance ad, can be seen below (via MadonnaTribe):

The sweet and sticky dvd trailer or tour trailer w/e it was was miles better. This was boring and not so well edited, that aside, this tour will slay and she’ll forever be the queen of pop.

Madge will forever reign as the Queen of Pop. That title will never be tarnished or snatched from her. Don’t come to me about her recent album sales, let’s see how much your fave sells at 53 let’s see how your fave will sell out stadiums around the globe at 53! Sorry Janet, Mariah, & Whitney. Madonna owns the throne. *Pheww I just had to get that out my chest*

Madonna was the Queen of pop, so was Janet and Mariah, it’s now Gaga’s turn.

Dunkfan you are delusional. Gaga isn’t even close to being “Queen of Pop”. She hasn’t sold 1/5 the records Madonna has and she isn’t even a runner-up. Britney Spears has sold way more records than her as well and then there’s Celine, Whitney, Janet, Mariah, etc. etc. Being hott for a few years doesn’t make you the Queen of Pop it makes you A pop princess. MJ is still the King of Pop and just because Justin Bieber or Justin Timberlake are currently hott doesn’t make them the King of Pop. They are still pop princes. Titles like “King” and “Queen” aren’t supposed to be tossed around so loosely. There has to be some real longevity attached to that.
