Nicole Scherzinger‘s stint on the X Factor may have come to a public and abrupt end last year, however it seems the singer isn’t ready to cut ties with the Simon Cowell franchise just yet.

It was announced today that the former Pussycat Doll purr-er is to guest judge on the UK instalment of the show tomorrow. As many know, the 4th judging seat remains vacant since Kelly Rowland quit the show earlier this month. Scherzinger joins the likes of Geri Halliwell, Rita Ora, and Leona Lewis, as those drafted in to “cover” pending the appointment of a new permanent judge.

Given the mammoth, yet fruitless push behind Nicole’s solo cause, it kinda figures that she’s getting in where she fits in at this point. We just hope she’s able to leverage the coverage she continues to get (despite next to no success) into something that finally works for her.
Randomness: In somewhat of an interesting development, Kelly Rowland flew into London yesterday. What for is anyone’s guess; although we hear it may be for a video shoot of sorts.
In an ideal world, this whole “leaving episode” needs to have been an elaborate stunt by the producers to ensure column inches, with Kelly returning in time for the Boot Camp stage.
If not, it re-affirms how messy the whole shabang is, as well as confirming (for the cynics) that it was indeed Kelly who left the show. For, had it been a case of producers letting her go, a new judge would have already been lined up instead of the current predicament – which for the first time in the show’s history sees no 4th judge in seat from the start of filming.
Needless to say, it’ll be interesting to see how it plays out.

No, Kelly! Don’t go back, the public should’ve been grateful to have a star like you on the X Factor but all they did was try and rip you to shreds. Kelly was the only judge who could actually judge, now the panels full of y list puppets who just do what the producers say. Who even knows who Tulisa, Gary & Louis are outside of the UK? Even Rita Ora has a bigger name than them.

Sam, Kelly Rowland was indeed FIRED from the show! Simon Cowell, nor most of the X-Factor viewer-ship, did NOT want her back! And, Sam, your logic is seriously flawed:
1.) Simon Cowell had the luxury of time to find a replacement. As you now state “in time for boot camp stage,” there was no need to rush-to-judgment on the matter.
2.) For ALL her notoriety, as she was T-H-E best known of ALL the X-Factor U.K. judges/mentors, she only moved less-than 150-K ‘Here I am’ U.K. units. This came after she was then given weekly-access to 12-Million U.K./European discretionary-spending consumers for months-on-end. Sam, what I’m trying to say is that she’s now realized as a malfeasance. At the very least, she’s an under-performing entity – more realistically: a liability! But to be even more frank, she’s a bitter disappointment!
..Sam, it took ‘Motivation’ some 4-LOOOOONG months to go platinum. That’s an eternity in the world of singles!
Sam, face it, Kelly Rowland is failure! Simon Cowell maybe allot of things, but a man who makes a mistake 2X isn’t one of them!

Kelly does not want back in and apparently she is filming a video in Barcelona as I type, has secured a 1.5mil + modelling contract and has a new TV gig that can not be talked about just yet.
I think Kelly is good X Y and Obsessed. Instead of relishing in her failures hope for her success. You get back what you put out dude and you seem to need all the good you can get.
