It’s finally here!
The video for Justin Bieber’s hotly anticipated (and much-teased) ‘Boyfriend’ premiered moments ago.

Directed by X, the clip -while serviceable- was puzzling on many a front.
Where were the scenes churned out in the teasers from previous weeks? It would appear they were merely adverts for the song itself; ironic in that each served up more engaging visuals than this. Then, of course, there’s the “dancing” – which, much like the song, wasn’t as offensive as it was mediocre.
Still, Bieber continues to prove himself a formidable chart force, and with ‘Boyfriend’ siting at #2 on te Hot 100 (and rising), it looks to be a trajectory that shows no signs of slowing.
The cut’s housing album ‘Believe’ hits stores on June 19th.

Good video but very reminiscent of NSYNCS Giirlfriend video, and there’s was far better, however props to him the song is cool, the video is cool so props!

I was expecting more dancing,more special effets seeing the previews but simplicity always wins.

I think Nsync’s Girlfriend video was a reference for this video. Being that the scenes are similar and that was called Girlfriend and this is called Boyfriend.
Better song and video than Rihanna’s new one…
This song really is crap, and the video isn’t much better. Looking at the midweek charts, Boyfriend looks set to drop out of the UK top 20 on Sunday after only three weeks. Given the number of “Beliebers” around, this is bloody awful and shows what a bad song it is. I don’t like him at all but at least some of his other songs have been worth listening to now and again on the radio or music channels ;o)

Justin Timberlake left the stage to whoever wants it and Bieber is doing what he is supposed to do: Dating a Britney Spears (Selena) then breaking up, then dating a Cameron Diaz (Scarlett Johansson) then snatching the “New King of Pop” title from an Usher (Chris Brown).
That’s the plan.
SO the original video was scrapped, that’s why it starts off the way it does.
