That Grape Juice A&R : Britney Spears 8th Studio Album

Published: Tuesday 12th Jun 2012 by David

Last month, X Factor fans rejoiced following confirmation of Britney Spears’ joining the show, as a full time judge on its US panel.

Of course, with a stint this big comes numerous reports hinting at a new LP by the star in 2013, the follow up to 2011’s ‘Femme Fatale‘.

Now, before its release is confirmed , it’s time for you to have your say on the project.

Confused?

Details below…

Listing 12 songs from any genre or period of music from any artist out there, we want you to create Britney’s new album, made up of cuts you feel would serve to win over the buying public and critics alike.

Maybe you feel Rihanna’s  ‘Cockiness is just the sound she needs to force her into higher chart ground or is Alexandra Burke’s ‘Heartbreak On Hold’ the sound she should be going for if it’s critical acclaim she desires.

It’s completely up to you.

More importantly, why not tell us how you’d handle the projects campaign. We’re talking promotional appearances, release dates, television specials…whatever you feel would convince the public to pick it up once it hits stores.

Who knows? Someone from Team Spears may see your ideas and put them to use.

Get creative below!

I’m still pressed that Blackout didn’t debut at #1, she could have had 5 consecutive #1 albums, ugh. She should use X-Factor to her full advantage just like JLO, I’m buying either way.

    • S****** Blonde June 7, 2012

Blackout still goes #1, no matter what, all her albums are #1.

      • MONSTERHIVE June 7, 2012

That I know but “debut” is different. Nicki has 2 #1 albums but her first album had a debut at #2. Britney would have been one of the few artists to ever have 5 albums that debut at #1. I bought Blackout so I was pressed.

      • S****** Blonde June 7, 2012

Yeah! but anyway it’s better than nothing.

    • mobwife June 12, 2012

Wasn’t that around the time the FAKE A$$ MEDIA was just climbing all on top of her about every little thing she did? Unfortunately sometimes they manage to win and turn ppl away from an artist! Blackout was a good CD though!

    • Kali June 13, 2012

I agree with you! There needs to be a Blackout part 2. Maybe title it Blackout 2.0! I loved that era! Circus was also great but I loved Blackout more, the dark edgy pop. I didn’t really like her 2011 album except for Til The World Ends, that’s about it. Please Blackout part 2!

  3. YouDoRealize… June 7, 2012

I am not even going to respond cause its so freaking irrelavent. And TGJ that was self-induced shade by saying, “…or is Alexandra Burke’s ‘Heartbreak On Hold’ he sound she should be going for if it’s critical acclaim she desires.” Who the hell knows this girl? Shes all over this damn website and I still refuse to pay her any mind after the tragedy that was Elephant. I’m going to church so I won’t be able to respond to you nay sayers.

  4. ItsBritneyBeotch June 7, 2012

    1. Alexandra Burke- Ooh La La

    5. Rihanna – Only Girl In The World
    6. Cheryl Cole- promise
    7. Usher- Climax

    13. danity kane- bad girl
    14. Rihanna we found love.

    • YourMotherSucksCockInHell June 7, 2012

The only song I can see Britney singing is Automatic.

      • aynon June 8, 2012

Pop seems to be getting more urban infused again, Britney could be at the forefront of this, I want another Album like In The Zone/Blackout.

but top on my wishlist is

A Pop Duet With Beyonce similar to Telephone to show these lessor ‘queens’ who the real queens of pop are,

if Brit learn’t how to dance again properly, the video could be epic.

the live performances would be interesting.

Janet and Madonna never did it.

the 2 Queens of Pop together for the biggest song ever it would be epic.

    • bobolly June 8, 2012

Justin Timberlake – Cry Me A River, really…. that song is about her. I think it would be best to avoid songs that attack Britney

    • samebudy August 8, 2012

Honestly, I think that just a list of your favourite songs. Half of them don’t work for Britney…

  5. ChristinasBlowTorch June 7, 2012

Yay so happy you did one of these for britney. Still cant believe the femme fatale era is over but im happy it went as well as it did because i thought it would fail against beyonces un4tunate,

    • KuntyWest June 7, 2012

But 4 outsold Femme Fatale, without a tour.

      • ChristinasBlowTorch June 7, 2012

what has a tour got to do with anything.
How many number ones did 4 get. Beyonce only got that number one bcause she released the album in a quiet week.
Britney gets number ones no matter who the competition is.BIG DIFFERENCE

      • KuntyWest June 7, 2012

But you’re implying that 4 flopped yet it outsold Femme Fatale in the states & even more world wide, deal.

      • StopItLuke June 7, 2012

It outsold it by like 300k ww… and that was with Beyonce pimping the f*** out of it and Britney was sat at home eating cheetos and stacking cash. #StayMad

      • Levi June 7, 2012

On top of that 4 was leaked for a whole damm month and still managed to sell 310,000 and go on to become platinum. Femme Fatale only sold 276,000 in the first week. Beyonce’s pregnant dancing shitted on Britney’s from the Femme Fatale Tour DVD. I love Britney but that s*** was tragic!! lol

And to answer old boys question a TOUR is mean’t to promote the album and (sell more copies o_0). Apparently you don’t know to much about how the music industry goes

    • ConRad J. June 7, 2012

She stays at home staking cash and eating cheetos cause she’s obviously contempt skipping out on dance rehearsals!

Bey stays focused; having a baby *record skips* and getting back to business! You better not play her! 4 was not un4tunate,…(that word play was semi-cute though)…it was TIMELESS, EPIC, INCOMPARABLE…(-however, I think those were the words you were looking 4)!

She pimped the hell out of it because she knew it’s worth and what it would mean to her fans, AND because she was hell bent on cementing her legacy in life and in music (See: I was here and/or Blue Ivy Carter…your choice).

But I do appreciate Brittany’s attempt at it all! OH…and why would Bey Stan’s “stay mad”? Did you see Beyonce introducing ANY portion of Brittany’s tribute at the AMA’s? *stay pressed*

I love Britney but that s*** was tragic!! lol

        ————————————————————–
more britney is best ‘bs’ no matter how lowly and raggedy her record sales. it must not matter as long as it sits number one for a minute.

there seemed somethin’ shady around chris brown’s #1 status on the bb chart and the release of britney’s ‘femme fatale’. the week britney’s cd was supposed to be released the bb chart was not updated from the previous week. bb probably covered up the fact that ‘femme fatale’ didn’t actually debut at #1 by not reflecting the new chart positions for that week.

as if that wasn’t shady enough the ‘femme fatale’ was certified platinum at 500k.

so don’t even try to go for a beatdown on bey. at least she does her own promo and doesn’t rely on cheating, manipulating and media over hype to make her just appear more relevant than she really is.

  6. Alex Thomas June 7, 2012

She needs to make more Kelly Rowland music.

I can just hear Britney’s voice on ‘Commander’ and even ‘When Love Takes Over’
However, I can’t imagine listening to a Britney album packed with ballads and slow-jams. We know Britney for her fun-pop tunes that never get old.

I think ‘Femme Fatale’ was the perfect Britney album. Maybe on her next album she should make music that represents a story like ‘Circus’ did. Every track on ‘Circus’ somehow, was relevant in some way to its title.

    Britney slays <3

  7. Ryry247 June 7, 2012

She should work with danja again and bring out a blackout 2.0

    • NewF*YorkBabe. June 9, 2012

      AMEN!!!!!!

    • Israel July 4, 2012

      thats EXACTLY

    • Israel July 4, 2012

thats EXACTLY what i want too! blackout was amazing! i f****** love Danja! he makes the sickest tracks and makes the best sounds when him and britney work together!! “Get Naked” is one of my fav songs from Britney!

  8. Jason June 7, 2012

You really need to stop talking Alex up. She’s a good singer but her music is not all that. Constantly going on about her new album is annoying and it seems you’re only doing it cos she pays you some mind. I still haven’t listened to anything since Elephant and you yapping on about it ain’t going to change that. Good night.

  9. ChristinasBlowTorch June 7, 2012

alex thomas you’re so right. She needs songs which show her reange and strenght because she can really sing its just that shes never been given the chance to since LTHA.

She should do a song like down for whatever

  10. POP ROYALTY ( Révolution) June 7, 2012

in the zone pt.2 !!! just that !

  11. I Judge Flops June 7, 2012

    She won’t write anything,

    It will be auto-tuned,

It won’t sell a million in the states

Britney USED TO BE important to music, BUT IS NOT ANYMORE.

    DEAL WITH IT

    • StopItLuke June 7, 2012

And Nicki is??? LOL… how much did Britney’s last tour make? and how much did FLOPnika’s??? oh.

      • MONSTERHIVE June 7, 2012

You’re an idiot cause she’s not even a Nicki stan, she calls her a flop.

      • bLaine kelley June 8, 2012

LoL, Nicki was on brit’s Last tour…maybe you missed that realization?

    • Jay June 8, 2012

      britney does write you d*****

      • irene46 June 8, 2012

        @ i judge flops june 7, 2012 710p

every single word you said is true!

    • Lax June 12, 2012

@IJUDGEFLOP WHY so bitter all of the time?

    • Israel July 4, 2012

Britney shouldnt have to write anything. shes the dam Princess of Pop. let them other b****** write her music. lol Its Britney B****. #getoverit

    • Jenny February 1, 2013

Britney has written some of the best songs she and her team produced, and most of the songs her fans are in love with… she wrote. Just sayin.

  12. S****** Blonde June 7, 2012

Alexandra WHO?, Britney doesn’t need a new sound, her Music is always good and it has her dna. I still think X-factor is a bad move in her career, i mean it’s low, she’s an icon, actually the only one singer of her age that is Legendary, she has an image that is only comparable to Madonna. I think Britney best album it’s “Blackout” and then “In The Zone”, i don’t think she will ever top “Toxic”, Oh dear Jesus!, my generation was the best, 1998 was the year, i’m so old now, i feel sorry for these kids, they have as idols people like Bieber and other kids, it’s just sad.

    • irene46 June 9, 2012

britney was a talented performer in the ’90’s but even though bieber sheds my last nerve; he’s more talented than britney could have ever dreamed of being.

      • S****** Blonde June 12, 2012

irene46, LMAO, don’t even try to put her name in the same line of that kid.

    • Israel July 4, 2012

i agree. haters can hate her and say all they want, but when it comes down to it, wether she was only good in the 90’s or wether she still brings it, or wether she doesnt dance or doesnt sing live or doesnt write her music, Britney Spears will ALWAYS BE REMEMBERED and her legacy will NEVER fade away. She is a LEGEND, wether people like it or not, she will NEVER be forgotten. so people can just shove their hate up their hole. 🙂

    • samebudy August 8, 2012

Must there be something wrong with me, I’m only 14 and I’m 100% Britney. 😀 She’s amazing <3

  13. Beyonce’s Weave June 7, 2012

Rihanna and Alexandra Burke in the same sentence??? One has a list of top ten albums whereas the other one looks like she’ll flop and will be on Simon Cowell’s drop list together with Joe Mcelderry, Shayne Ward, Steve Brookstein, Leon Jackson and Matt Cardle. She’ll be the first female on Simco Ltd to be dropped. Interesting.

  14. StopItLuke June 7, 2012

LOL at you trying to make Alexandra’s album happen… It’s not gonna happen.

Britney can make whatever album she wants, they’re always flawless the problem is more with lack of promo from her (not the label) but if she isn’t up to it i wouldn’t want her to put her health on the line just so some stans can make a few more gifs.

    • irene46 June 9, 2012

      @ stopitluke…

yeah, you need to. you all kill me whining and blaming britney’s alleged lack of promo when she gets more free media promo and hype than any artist on the planet. she made several appearance to promote ‘femme fatale’ so quit the simple talk.

  15. nikko June 7, 2012

BLACKOUT 2.0 MORE POP URBAN SHE HAS THE PERFECT VOICE FOR IT AND I WANT HER POPIN IN EVERY VIDEO LIKE SHE USED TO BACK IN THE SLAVE4U/ IN THE ZONE ERA…….

  16. Gilberto June 7, 2012

I want a new Blackout. This album is her best, the others are tacky. Femme Floptale era was a disaster. All her singles sounded like Ke$ha’s leftovers. I want more If U Seek Amy, Circus, Gimme More.

  17. Small_Angel June 7, 2012

    I wan’t a ballad vocal album

    1. Beyonce – Listen
    2. Christina Aguilera – Reflection
    3. Christina Aguilera – I Turn To You
    4. Christina Aguilera – The Voice Within
    5. Christina Aguilera – Hurt
    6. Christina Aguilera – You Lost Me
    7. Mariah Carey – My All
    8. Mariah Carey – Butterfly
    9. Whitney Houston – Run to you
    10. Whitney Houston – I have nothing
    11. Celine Dion – I Love You
    12. Celine Dion – It’s All Coming Back To Me Now
    13. Celine Dion – My Heart Will Go On..

    JUST KIDDING!!!

She can do JUST Britney.. and i’ll accept it.

    • ENOUGH ONIKA June 8, 2012

OBVIOUSLY you are not a fan if you want her to put out an album she in no way can execute!! LOL!!! A ballard “vocal” album AND Britney??? GTFOH!

      • Benron June 8, 2012

        He said he was kidding!

      • irene46 June 9, 2012

he said he was just kidding but for someone who will accept her just doing britney, that list was throwing more than a little shade on her singing ability.

      • small_angel June 9, 2012

        ok sorry…

    • KingBeyonceKnowlesCarter June 15, 2012

LOL…BRITNEY SINGING THE CLASSIC “LISTEN” ,EVEN WITH THE HELP OF AUTO TUNE AND SYNTHESIZERS,SHE WON’T BE ABLE TO PULL A SINGLE NOTE RIGHT…..

      • samebudy August 8, 2012

I must agree, as much as I love her.

  18. MT June 7, 2012

whatever it is, whenever it comes out, no matter how long it stays at #1 or even hits #1, musically britney’s music will slay everyone when its released.

Ever since In the Zone, NO ONE has been able to predict what her next album would sound like. ITZ was music compilation genius. Blackout was urban fire. Circus brought Pop in 2009 to whole ‘notha level. And Femme Fatale was sick pop too from start to finish.

    #cantwait

    • anna June 7, 2012

      100% agree !!

      • irene46 June 9, 2012

        yeah, whatever you say.

      • irene46 June 11, 2012

for all your britney braggers adele is getting ready to slay britney’s debut album and she’s doing it during a recession and music downloading.

    • Israel July 4, 2012

could NOT have said it better myself. i feel proud reading this. lol. reguardless of what it is, Britney is a Legend and no matter how much people still hate, her name will NEVER fade out!!!

  19. Dan Black June 7, 2012

Indie Pop record with Greg Kurstin.

  20. MH June 7, 2012

For her next album I would love to see Britney do a ‘Ray of Light’ type thing, meaning I would love for her to still do her pop music thing but put lyrics in the music that pertain to her life like she did with ‘Piece of Me’ from Blackout and ‘My Baby’ from Circus. I would also love for her to team up with Danja again because they made excellent music together.

  21. Mike June 7, 2012

    Britney-He About To Lose Me
(new song) Mickey – Britney feat. Christina Aguilera
CIara- Tell Me What Your Name Is
    Alexis Jordan- Habit
    Lady Gaga- LoveGame
Christina Aguilera- WooHoo (keep the Nicki feature)
    Fergie- Fergalicious (the beat)
    Leona- Collide/Outta My Head
    Cassie- King Of Hearts
    Alexandra Burke- Elephant

    • irene46 June 9, 2012

christina and britney ‘woohoo’ duet (with nicki feature like you said) might be some grand fun.

      • Israel July 4, 2012

id looooove for Xtina and Brit to work together. imagine the music video?? it would be sooo hot!

    • samebudy August 8, 2012

I agree. Keep He About to Lose Me in. As first single 😀 <3<3<3

  22. ConRad J. June 7, 2012

Brit’s team just needs to go back and listen to “blackout” one more time…add a little spice from today’s tunes and throw-in something new and the 8th album would be a chart climber!

Blackout could’ve fostered a “B’day” type video anthology; therein, translating to hit single, after hit single,(with an accompanying video), AND another #1 album!

…and she has a platform to produce it ALL on? *Team Brit, #LearnFromThis*

  23. Garrett June 7, 2012

re-release of blackout, but with some LIVE promo performances!!!

    • Israel July 4, 2012

u know i have ALWAYS thought of that! a re release of black out with some new tunes to amp the re release! with crazy promo and amazing music videos and dancing and just omg i could go on forever!
      “BLACKOUT REVAMPED”

  24. Jer June 7, 2012

Im not here for a new Britney album. Femme Fatale is her best album. She slayed my life with it besting even Blackout. I just dont want to be sisappointed ba

  25. HD live June 7, 2012

YAY 8TH ALBUM AND 7TH Nº 1 MAYBE
I STILL THINKING BLACKOUT IS HER BEST ALBUM

  26. lolax June 7, 2012

    MORE BLACKOUT SOUNDS PLEASE BRITNEY

I LOVE ALL HER ALBUMS BUT BLACKOUT WAS PERFECTION

    • Lax June 12, 2012

      @LOLACX Me too.

  27. BeyHive June 7, 2012

She is so over. Why is she still trying to be relevant?

    • irene46 June 9, 2012

the media is still hot for the t*** queen era and as long as they can fool the public she’s still a phenomenon that’ll keep her career on life support.

      • Lax June 12, 2012

Britney is not going to ever be over till
        she says shes over.

    • Israel July 4, 2012

She is a LEGEND, wether people like it or not, she will NEVER be forgotten. so people can just shove their hate up their hole

  28. Remey June 8, 2012

I think it’s time for another rogue album from Britney. It will definitely be the way to go since everyone else is trying so hard to go the generic pop route. Blackout was really appreciated because it came at a time when everyone’s music was so predictable. NO ONE expected Blackout to sound the way it did. It was so raw and gritty. But no one had seen Britney be so raw and vulnerable with tracks like “Piece of Me” and “Why Should I Be Sad”

That’s what she needs now. Find a more urban production to bare her feelings of new found love, growth from immaturity, etc. This would be a good opportunity to pull a “4” type of album. Britney has NOTHING to prove anymore. She is a legend. So she can afford to play around a bit with her sound. However, we all know Britney NEVER plays with her production. It’s what keeps her in touch with her fans. She knows her sound so well….even when experimenting.

  29. Jeffrie June 8, 2012

As a Britney Stan i would like The late 90s early 2000s sound back.

TBH i dont think replicating Blackout would be a good Idea. It would be hot if she gives us a little bit of everything like in her In the Zone album

My fantasy Britney Album would look like
    1) Me Against The Music Pt 2 or even just another collab with Madonna
    2) A duet with Katy Perry or a Katy Perry esque track
    3) A collab with either Chris Brown or Usher. ( A sensual R & B feel track like I’m a s**** 4 U and Boys remix with Pharrel)
    4) A Ballad (ala Everytime, Dear Diary,My Baby etc)
    5) Another collab with Nicki Minaj
    6) A Blackout inspired Track
    7) Dr Luke produced Track
    8) Max Martin produced track
    9) Something i would Never in a million years expect from Brit Brit
    10) A song written by me LOL!!!J/K although i am an aspiring artist
    11 & 12 Whatever britney wants

  30. I dont care June 8, 2012

She hasnt impressed me since 04.
no singing voice, very little input to her music.
i dont give two shits if britney stans thumbs down this comment because they know its true.

    • Lax June 12, 2012

Its okay that means theres more for those of
us who she still impresses. I wonder why britney isn’t compared to beyonce more in SALES since they or both
around the same age and have got the same amount of years in the Game.

    • Israel July 4, 2012

haters can hate her and say all they want, but when it comes down to it, wether she was only good in the 90′s or wether she still brings it, or wether she doesnt dance or doesnt sing live or doesnt write her music, Britney Spears will ALWAYS BE REMEMBERED and her legacy will NEVER fade away. She’s such an ugly flop!!!

    • Lax June 12, 2012

Shes beautiful and rich with two
      beautiful sons.

  32. Miao June 8, 2012

Britney is a corporate puppet.. She sings Coca-Cola and fast food songs! Britney an artist? Of what?

    • Lax June 12, 2012

Ye perhaps thats how she sold over 37 million albums
before age 20 and shes the only artist to do this.

    • Israel July 4, 2012

  33. PrettigurlrockD June 8, 2012

I didn’t like femme fatale at all. The songs were terrible and her live performances…. Ugh. I was so over her. I can tell her heart isn’t in her work anymore. But I’m curious to know if she’s made any improvement when her next album comes up although I have low expectations…

  34. PrettigurlrockD June 8, 2012

I thought circus was a good album too. She looked so BACK and alive on that album. Idk what happened after that!

  35. Pauñ June 8, 2012

    LIVE SINGING VOCALS PELASE

  36. Blackman June 8, 2012

and out sold others whole careers.

  37. britqueen June 8, 2012

    she needs to work with:

    DIPLO
Luke Steele (Ushers Looking 4 Myself)
    Neptunes again
    Bloodshy and avant again

    MAYBE danja again

if she does that she will drop a sick album, nuff said

  38. Casual June 8, 2012

I think Britney needs to ride the current pop wave, but come with a slight twist. Since the 80s are back, I have a few suggestions that represent the kinds of songs she should look for. Some may seem odd, but Britney’s voice is really a possibility with all of these songs, especially with the right 2012 production.

    Physical – Olivia Newton John
Let’s Hear It For the Boy – Deniece Williams
If This Is It – Huey Lewis & the News
Out Here On My Own – Irene Cara
Straight Up, Forever Your Girl, or Cold Hearted – Paula Abdul
If Wishes Came True – Sweet Sensation
I Know What Boys Like – The Waitresses
Looking for a New Love – Jody Watley
Two of Hearts – Stacy Q
There’s Something Going On – Frida

I thought brittany spears was dead ?

    • irene46 June 9, 2012

no. some deluded fans and the media keep her on life support!

    • Charizard June 12, 2012

      who’s “brittany” spears LOL

      • Israel July 4, 2012

lmfao! THATS WHAT I WAS SAYING!! LOL f****** idiots. its BRITNEY b**** lol

  40. SCARS June 9, 2012

eminem & britney together in her new album and producers like pharrell, skrillex, max martin,dr. luke, danja, avicii, the dream, sandy vee, benny blanco, savan kotecha & redOne

    EPIC!

    • Lax June 12, 2012

      Yesssssss

  41. irene46 June 9, 2012

you people keep trying to juice ‘blackout ‘ as one of her best albums. if it was so great why was it her worst seller?

    • nikko June 12, 2012

???? Blackout sold 1 million in The US and 3.1mill WW…

      • irene46 June 12, 2012

that’s much better than i thought. on two year anniversary fans on the ‘poor britney’ site were prodding others into buying additional copies of ‘blackout’ to push it to platinum status. it must have worked

  42. $$$$ Dollar$ign$kills June 9, 2012

I actually think using leftover Ke$ha songs is what Britney needs. Till the World Ends was the best selling track off Femme Fatale

  43. TellMeSumthin June 12, 2012

Britney doesnt need to change her sound. She’s already proved she’s an icon. The only thing Beyonce has on her is the live singing, other than that they’re equal.

None of them write their own songs, both of them came out in the 90s but Britney has sold moe

  44. Lax June 12, 2012

Bring it on Britney you know i love this and any time
you have BRAGGGGGGGIN rights to your claim to having sold 37 million
albums before the ripe old age of 20 then you know you or hot as fiyahhh
bring it on britney perhaps you can get another DIAMOND AND SHOW
the women who or your equal like beyonce how she can get DIAMONDS
with album sales, OOOOOPS I DID IT AGAIN I TYPED THE BEYS NAME.

    • irene46 June 12, 2012

adele is breathing down the neck of britney’s debut album selling 22 million copies of her cd in the uk.

maybe adele should try to show britney how to get another diamond in a recession and in the age of downloads (no chance).

maybe britney was hot as firah when she was 20 but her firah is not much more than embers now. she hasn’t sold big since 2003. stop with the delusion.

      • nikko June 12, 2012

it only takes 3 good songs…. Britney spears is still very powerful in the music scene her fans are VERY loyal….. Cmon Britney!

      • irene46 June 13, 2012

i’m not quite sure what you mean by it only takes 3 good songs.

her fans are loyal to the point on delusion but what really keeps her afloat is because the media loves her. they determine who is power in the music business.

look at jlo. her ‘love album sold 63k copies the week it debuted. the media didn’t for a second call her a flop. christina’s ‘bionic’ sold 120k and they beat her down to the ground.

christina’s ‘burlesque’ soundtrack has sold nearly as many as britney’s ‘femme fatale’ and britney released 3 singles to christina’s none.

relevancy and power is in the eye of the media.

I would love for her to have full control of the 8th Album,
she should have absolute freedom to do whatever music she wants to do,rather then living up to the expectations.
she should be executive producer and wright or be involved in the writhing  process.
I wouldn’t  like seeing her trying to re – create any of her other albums or hits, she should go for something completely new and fresh.
i would like to see her doing more Trancy/Trip Hop/Urban stuff,
As sound references I would use “get naked”,”breathe on me”,…..
Def no dance music and non of the producers that are out there at the moment.i would actually love to hear what William orbit and britney would create together.
lyrically it should be more personal and deeper then any of the albums before, and it would be nice to hear her deeper singing voice.

as of promotion I think she should start of with a small intimate club tour where she actually gets to reconnect with her fans.
It would be great to see her doing a few acoustics or different arrangements of songs.
she should also speak a bit more during her shows and thank her fans for all the support she got from them throughout all these years…as I don’t think she’s ever really done that.

tv promos and performance wise it she should try and find a choreographer an creative director that suits the way she moves now.
Whoever  choreographed the Egyptian section on the ff your did a great job!

this has made me super excited fr her new album…. Whenever it
    Comes out!

….BEYONCE 4 OUTSOLD FEMME FATALE WITH BEY NOT DOING ANYTHING…Hhaa

  58. Jermaine June 15, 2012

Britney should release another album like Blackout with some danceish tracks and have songs similar to Toxic and S****.

    Producers should be:
    Diplo
    Timbaland
    Danja
    The Neptunes
    The C.L.U.T.C.H
    Hitboy
    Swizz Beats amongst others

She should release a promo song during this X-Factor gig to set social media on fire and release the first single Spring 2013. The video should be a dance video like WHYB and RTW.

  59. kijano June 17, 2012

She needs to start rapping and singing in the same song. It’d be a female version of Bieber’s Boyfriend ! that’d be fresh and innovative

  60. Caleb ellis June 17, 2012

I Want britney’s 8th album to have the feel as “In The Zone” & “Blackout” Including most of britneys written work cause we know that britney can produce and write awesome tracks. make it special, s*** and fun
    please make this work.

  61. CHRIS ANDRADE July 28, 2012

Britney’s 8th Album would definitely have the feel of “In The Zone” and “Blackout”, with more influence of the latter. For executive production, either Danja or Bloodshy & Avant. Other possible producers: Diplo, Daft Punk and ABSOLUTELY Billboard (Inside Out). A little less ‘dubstep’ and more ‘dark, harder hip-hop/ R&B/ dance”. She obviously likes the Hip-Hop and R&B genres, let the girl play around with them!

    Tracklist:

    1) “What Do You Take Me For” – Pixie Lott
    2) “My Love Is For Real” – Paula Abdul
    3) “Red Lipstick” – Rihanna
    4) “Bloody Mary” – Lady Gaga
    5) “All Nite, Don’t Stop” – Janet Jackson
    6) “Butters Theme” – Diplo
    7) “Favorite DJ” – Clinton Sparks
    8) “Promise” – Ciara
    9) “Demonstrate” – Jojo
    10) “One Night Stand” – Keri Hilson11) “Demonstrate” – Jojo
    11) “Werk Me” – Hyper Crush
    12) “U Make Me Wanna” – Eddie Amador & Kimberly Cole

The sound of the album, going in that order of this tracklisting.
    Campaign:
    1) Appearances would begin more frequently after a long hiatus away from public view. She would then hit the scene almost spontaneously with promotional push through magazine, show and radio interviews. As well as guest appearances on award shows and participating in big events.

    2) Release dates would be built up by anticipating clips of the songs to be released and building buzz over upcoming album. 1st (lead) single drops a month prior to album. 2nd single released in relation to album release. 3rd a month after that….on to 6 singles in total. Each accompanied by a music video to compliment each song as well as album art.

    3) Album promotion would deal heavily with performances on awards shows, guest appearances on TV shows and events. Videos and album art / magazine spreads would all have the feel of the album; styling and looks would all be cohesive and well-done to superstar quality only. The look of her styling, spreads and promotional photos will have to reflect a strong, dark, badass, new Britney; a side that is fresh and new, but is intriguing and greatly welcomed.

    4) Get more/new Sponsors, doing promotional work for them by means of ads and commercials.

    5) If there is a huge awards ceremony (aka Grammy’s) during the time right after the album has dropped, she must do a montage performance for all songs on her album. Performance pertaining to dancing that she has practiced and mastered to the point of perfection. Hitting each move as she did when she did in the past, surprising the world with her fierce comeback.

    6) Remix album of AMAZING remixes for each song on the album, in same order as regular album. Drops a month after 6th single, releasing 2 more NEW songs from remix album, continuing a 2-month longer extension of album leading to the inevitable amazing tour!!

  62. Bman October 2, 2012

I’d love to have an album more like In The Zone, something edgy and fun with some nice, powerful ballads thrown in there. I miss her ballads. :-/ And without so much computer interference. But I’ll loooove it either way! 🙂

  63. Alex Sosa October 19, 2012

I think Britney should do a duet with Lady Gaga,Becky G, Chris Brown, Justin Bieber, and other singers from different genres. That way she would become bigger in all different kinds of genres. And then there would be more buyers for her album and singles.

  64. Alex Sosa October 19, 2012

I also want a Femme Fatale feeling.

  65. tom November 8, 2012

    Type of music:
Mid tempo, big beats, dubstep influences. WAY less autotune, and take at least a year to write at least half the songs. She’ll get so much more praise if she shows off truely her voice and writing skills, that’s one of her downfalls that she doesn’t have any influence on her music! That should change.

    Promotion:
Three singles preceding the album. Hopefully advertising the different types of song on the album. Make people completely aware it’s a new album coming, not a Greatest Hits album or an EP by only releasing one single.
For the first single she should release the video (a GOOD video that people actually want to watch) prior to the song on iTunes for at least two weeks (even in America) and roughly a month before it’s released in the UK.
While the video’s out in America, but the track isn’t released.. She should really push radio play and VEVO advertisments. So everyone knows/heard the song.. so as soon as it comes out there will be a big surge of download and hopefully get number 1. Therefore also hopefully getting BBH100 No. 1.

Then for the second single, she should not worry so much about chart success.. but about good reviews by releasing either a slower song or one that shows off her voice. Use this single to gain unusual interest in the new project. Release the video and the track simultaneously. For this, maybe do some televised acoustic performances if she has the guts to do that.
Release the song 3 weeks after the video in the UK. Do a few TV performances on respected TV shows.
By this time she should say in interviews that its from a new album and give a release date, make it certain and get the interest building for the release date.

3rd single. Massive beats, catchy hook, soaring chorus, club anthem type song. release video prior to release in UK and USA, (2 weeks USA 4 weeks UK) MASSIVE RADIO PLAY and perform on the first X Factor live show. (UK + USA) tell presenters the single is out RIGHT NOW cause it would be released on the sunday she would perform. Then make it obvious the album is out the next day.
Many magazine interviews, morning and daytime shows too.
She can’t afford to be picky about where she promotes as her sales of each album have only gone down since her first.

  66. maria December 15, 2012

i really really want it to be just like oops i did it again and baby one more time. I just want to remember my childhood memories.

  67. Jenny February 1, 2013

The fact that Britney is even being compared to beyonce is a joke. If people really are true Britney fans then they would know about all her songs that have her true vocal tone in them and know there are plenty of those songs out there. She has always been top selling on her own. Beyonce has Jay-z by her side all the time. Britney is one girl show. Britney is great at dancing and who cares if she cut back since she was 16-17, shes 30 now.. bodys are totally different. She still can dance her way around beyonce if she wanted to. If you read about her femme fatal tour you would see she worked her ass off and got her 6 pack back.. Black out is my all time favorite album and femme fatal was absolutely outstanding! Britney is her own kind of category and I cant stand when people compare her. Im very excited to hear her new album. she never disappoints her fans when it comes to her music. My favorite leaked song of hers is Everyday and I LOVE that she sings within her true range on that song… bc lets face it.. some of the songs she and her people pick.. make her sing nasally (not that im hating, God knows i love her!). regardless, ill always stick by her, along with the rest of the Britney Army, shaved head or not. <333

  68. ScottieBaby April 25, 2013

I like fierce songs like Shattered Glass/Piece of me

    1. Trouble (Taylor Swift)
    2. Heart Attack (Demi L) NOTE: Would love to hear Britney hit a higher note again.
    3. What Now (Rihanna)
    4. Don’t Wake Me Up (Chris Brown)
    5. 4am (Melani Fiona)
    6. Call Me Maybe (C. R..)
    7. Diamonds (Rihanna)
    8. Beautiful Sinner (Nicki Minaj) NOTE: This club infused sound is the new age and I like Nicki’s album. I don’t enjoy her but her sounds unique like Britney’s.
    9. More beats like “Inside out” & “Trouble For Me” Dubstep is HOT!
    10. I loved “Circus” because it was Britney’s first Themed Record where the title matched the lyrics. had a feeling to go with it it I one of my favs. She didn’t Theme Femme Fatale so…hope she’ll Title this 8th one and specifically record music to go with the title and meaning. EMAILS FOR A THEMED ALBUM!
