All Gold, no Platinum, otherwise known as Trey Songz, is back.
Having served up ‘Heart Attack’ as the first single from his ‘Chapter V’ LP (due August 21st), the R&B crooner is gearing up to roll out its follow-up ‘2 Reasons’.

With Usher and Chris Brown both back and ruling their respective lanes, surely Songz would have got the cue to step it up? Unfortunately, common sense isn’t so common – as evidenced by this rubbish.
Deep-fried and dripping all sorts of wack, the song and video are crass, dated (video chicks still exist?), and collectively show why Trey will remain at the level he’s at if he keeps churning out material like this. Sad, as vocally, he is working with just as much as his competitors.
For his sake, the album must come packing more than this. For, it’s only a matter of time before his loyal label and management tire with his creative and commercial stagnation and vest their efforts elsewhere.

Chris Brown is in his lane and rolling on all cylinders! He is shutting down New York even as we speak! How many ppl came out to see him perform live on the Today Show last week? He set the record last year for bring out the most ppl EVER ON ANY NETWORK MORNING PROGAM to see a summer concert series performance! The total was 20,000 ppl ! He broke that record last Friday! Everywhere this boy goes ppl line up for hours just to see him for 5 minutes! PLEASE HAVE SEVERAL SEATS! You haters are too funny! You ppl keep my laughing everyday on this site.
Hahaha, Chris Brown is flopping hard with every major single at the moment. AT least in the U.S. Trey’s R&B record is pretty impressive – TGJ needs to stop being so semi-professional. Get your facts straight and don’t overhype your favorites – you can do better!

As fine as Trey Songz is, let’s be honest, he’s going to FLOP and FLOP hard. He’ll probably FLOP harder than his Girlfriend Kelly Rowland did in the UK (at least “Here I am” debuted at #3 in the US).

Chris Brown has A lane.. He is popular and is a bigger star than Trey Songz, not that it matters one hell of bit. But Chris is not THAT much bigger than Songz. I mean y’all really exaggerate here. And in the last few years Songz has actually beat Brown in album sales. And yes I know CB is dealing with media backlash and has been for years now, but if he’s in such a higher lane than at the end of the day his album sales would be in that other lane. Chris Brown and Trey Songz share very similar lanes. Even though Trey Songz is my favorite of the 3, neither of them is touching the lane Usher is on and never will. So TGJ mentioning Usher and CB like they could stand beside one another is a joke. Usher fathered these 2.
