i’m really looking forward to Mariah Carey ‘s new album. She said that it should drop by the end of the year , and its regarded as a comeback after giving birth and all. Motherhood must have given mimi a new set of emotions to elaborate and reflect through new lyrics. AceShowbiz is reporting that Christina Aguilera has teamed up with Beyoncé on a track that will reportedly be included on her forthcoming album due out later this year.
“Beyoncé reportedly has wanted hook up with Christina Aguilera on a ‘killer’ ballad,” the e-zine writes. The duet is rumored to have been recorded in Christina’s home studio in Los Angeles, and the pop singer is said to be excited at the prospect of releasing the track some time this year,” adds the report.
Aguilera has been hard at work on the album, and we are told that the project is very near completion, and that her lead single from the ‘yet to be named’ album will premier of the third season of The Voice this fall, where she’s a judge/mentor on the panel.
An unnamed inside source confirms the above for AceShowbiz. Admittedly, there’s a lot of pressure for Christina to deliver an album that sells like her previous releases, blowing competition out of the water.

Anywho, I got my 1st 2012 choice in Chris Brown’s Fortune. I can’t stop listening to this CD. I’m very please he returned to his R&B roots on this one! My next choices would be Ciara, Alicia Keys, Brandy, Tami, of the ppl you would know! There are a few Jazz artists who are dropping CD’s this year that I’m also looking forward to getting!

I’m also checking for Nelly Furtado and Rihanna. Both projects sound really promising, so I’ll probably purchase them. I just hope Rihanna doesn’t pull a ‘Loud’/ ‘TTT’ on us and gives us a disjointed mess, because the last Rihanna album I bought was ‘Rated R’.
I’m interested in what Alicia, Azealia, Iggy and Brandy are going to put out as well. I’ve bought each and every Alicia album, but I’m unsure about her new one and I own some Brandy albums too, but her recent ones haven’t been up to par. I’m checking for them, though.
