Exclusive: Frank Ocean & Pharell Williams Salute Elijah Blake

Elijah Blake Exclusive: Frank Ocean & Pharell Williams Salute Elijah Blake

Responsible for penning Keyshia Cole‘s ‘Enough Of No Love‘, Def Jam’s Elijah Blake is fast becoming one of the label’s more promising acts.

Now, before the release of his Rick Ross assisted debut single, the entertainer has received a glowing endorsement from NERD’s Pharell Williams and ‘Channel Orange’ mastermind Frank Ocean.

An endorsement, immortalized in an exclusive (and ‘interesting’) clip sent to That Grape Juice, awaiting you below…

Hit the 1.44 mark to see Ocean hearing Blake’s ‘Presidential’ for the first time:

If Elijah’s name seems familiar, it may be because he is one of the many writers signed onto pen Rihanna’s seventh studio LP- joining the vocalist for sessions in London last month.

Be sure to look out for more of his work on Keyshia Cole‘s ‘Woman To Woman‘, Alicia Keys’ forthcoming LP and quite interestingly Ciara‘s ‘One Woman Army’.

Your thoughts?

Another day, another mention of Frank Ocean.

Is this guy a homosexual too?

  • I hope he’s not gay too because I happen to REALLY like “Enough of No Love”. it’s bad enough I can never listen to Bey’s “I Miss You” the same way.

    • If you can’t listen to a song the same because a gay/bi man wrote it, then you have some real insecurities within. Man up/ woman up… those words never had anything to do with you in the first place. Its ignorant to think that some if not most of your other favorite songs weren’t written by lgbt folk. And since you are talking about bey, how about you just stop endorsing her all together Bc her whole shctick has been built on gay people’s backs. Smh… dummy!

You’re joking…… This is a joke….!? Ocean is nodding his head to a rick ross song and its an endorsement. So, if… say… Casisie was caught nodding her head to the same tune it would be an endorsement also? Y’all need to find a few more names to big up apart from Rita & Frank
