For today, his latest album ‘Fortune‘ rose to the top of the UK Albums Chart- marking his first ever #1 album in the country.

A mind blowing feat considering he hasn’t stepped foot in the country, the LP’s UK success arrives days before it is set to follow suit in the US, where it is also set to hit the top spot.
As if that wasn’t enough, today saw his latest single ‘Don’t Wake Me Up’ edge closer to the #1 spot on the UK singles chart, after it rose to #2 on this week’s tally, one spot up from the #3 spot it held last week.

I so much want to support this guy as I used to be a Team Breezy BUT ever since all this man has done is antics (forget about the 3 years ago) like the Twitter Rants , Phone snatching incident, the bar brawl, the playing a victim attitude and offcourse the Rihanna Theraflue diss then we have the Drake Diss and then 52 states etc etc the list goes on – it has become obvious he has issues he needs to take a break and come back. This post is not about who has topped the Charts in England before. It’s about Chris Brown doing it for the 1st time in his young career! And he has done it without being the media’s golden child (Bieber or Gaga etc) which really makes it something special. It’s easy to achieve the top spot when the media gives you a consatnt boost but CB just “steezed” on them from outside the BOX!

I do agree with you that it was a huge mistake for him to collab with Rihanna. She never really cared about him. She collaborated with him because it would give her more attention. She basically used him to get her name in the media. After Birthday Cake went to number 1 on urban radio she unfollowed him on Twitter and never even gave team breezy credit for them helping getting the song somewhere. I never got the sense from her that she cared about him, she is just a user. Chris is a much better artist than her and has many talents. She doesn’t even hold a candle to him.

That person is speaking of the biased American chart figures but who cares! Chris Brown is slaying in places he’s yet to visit which means more to me then American sells figures. With all the negative press the media gives him everyday (Drake & his male crew attacks Chris and a group of women at a club yet CB is somehow to blame), I’m surprised he sold at all in the biased US media driven market!

Breezy CD is the best , the greatest, it like he went back to his roots ballads and I LOVE them all!! All I can say is Chris is a head of all the singer out there! And I bought both CD the regarler one and the one with the extra-songs on them and the extra songs are the best I love them!! Everyone should get a copy I say both copies, if not, get at less one, the one with the extra songs on them, they are beautyful songs, you don’t want to miss listening to any of Chris’s songs! I love his new album but, I wish CB will start working on himself and stay out of all the drama. I really believe that the latest diss to drake separated some of his fans that were Drake and CB fan, they had to choose. And the love triangle with Karrueche, and Rihanna, Divided his fans into four, Team Kae, Team Chrianna, Team Breezy, and just Chris Brown fan. He needs all the attention back on him not his women. He needs to stay out of clubs and find something else to do instead of partying all the time. He has the worst PR team this year, they failed him big time. I am very upset of his sales in US, it should’ve been higher. His sales in the US is right back where he started after the incident. After his fans worked so hard over the last two years in helping him get back to the top. I remember when some of fans were leaving the team because they felt he choose Kae over them. CB should’ve never allow so much attention to his GF, and if they were doing it to improve his image, his PR team failed again, because all the comments on the mainstream blogs still doesn’t acknowledge him being in a steady relationship. They are still calling him a Woman Beater. What his PR team failed to realize is she isn’t a celebrity and the public will look at it as she will take abuse just to be with a millionaire. Now if he wanted to improve his image, using a relationship, he should’ve dated a celebrity to get a positive result. Ok just had to release my thoughts on the whole situation. Very proud of CB getting his firts #1 album in the Uk. Get yourself together CB.

I would love to be on his PR Team! I’d get him and the media together at the same time. He needs more of an image consultant at this point and turst me EVERYONE HAS or HAS HAD ONE throughout the course of their career be they in films, TV, athletics or the music industry! He needs to stay away from ppl who are only out to leech off his success (The GAME etc).
The Game knowing damn well Chris was to perform on the BET Awards that Sunday and had a major CD release that Tuesday, rushed him into the studio to do a bootleg (ALBEIT FUNNY AS HELL & TRUE) remix diss abt “Drake-EVELYN”! That mess could have really waited to be released in a few weeks from now had CB still felt the need to get it off his chest!! As I stated, considering the backlash he received for DOING NOTHING AT ALL but celebrating Teyana Taylor’s new record deal with Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music group along with NBA Star Tony Parker, I can see why he wanted to do a diss! However, the ppl around him should have advised him against such an action.
Chris Brown needs to remember who he is and what he has yet to accomplish in the music industry (THE ENEMY DOESNT MOUNT AN ATTACK AGAINST FOLKS GOD HASN’T BLESSED WITH GREAT PROMISE & THAT APPLIES TO ALL OF US)! “Certian” folks have gone as far as they will ever go. That is simply not his fate! He needs to accept that responsibility and keep moving his dancing feet past “certain ppl”!
As for what the BIASED & VERY RIGGED American media is going to report, he really has no control over that! Chris Brown is a young black man. There is no black leadership, especially in the media. The blacks in the media merely parrot what the popular society dictates. There is very little he can do about what the press says concerning his teen past while they of course coddle actual WIFE BEATERS like Mel Gibson, Charlie Sheen, Sean Penn, Jeff Goldblum, Nicholas Cage, Christian Slater, Glen Campbel, Alan Jackson, John McEnroe, Robert Downey Jr., Tommy Lee etc.

Congrats to CB and teambreezyUK. Its genius of him to decide not to do any interviews and rely on social media only but if he had kept focused on the music and let it speak for itself and not get sidetracked by all the drama then things would have gone a lot better for him in the US. The drama turned me off as well as a lot of other people. Oh well, you live and you learn. Most experiments never got right the first try. I hope from now on “him see and blind hear and deaf” to all the bullshit and let his music speak for itself, the way he had hoped.

He’s numbers are great considering they leaked his CD days before it was released. His numbers are similar to those of Usher whoes CD wasn;t purposefully leaked and was heavily promoted. Usher has been on many tv programs and mag covers promoting his CD for months.
