Almost a month after hitting the net, there’s finally some movement with Kelly Rowland‘s hot new single ‘Ice’.
We have it on reliable word that the Lil Wayne assisted cut is set for its “official” radio add date any day now; and so as to ensure it fulfils its chart-topping potential, the track has been restructured. Initially clocking in at almost 5 minutes, a revised version of the baby-making number premiered moments ago.

Still multiple flavours of fire! All Ms. Kelly needs now is to serve up is an equally blazing video (visually stunning and choreo-heavy) and she could well have another ‘Motivation’ sized hit on her hands.

I love Kelly and this song is hot but she should’ve served up something differentthis time around. Instead of worrying about racking.up those hit songs, she should focus on her album sales. I’d love to see her get at least 1 #1 album on the 200 chart during her career and sell at least 100k in the first week. Quit putting Lil Wayne on your damn songs and give us 100% Kelly. Its an okay song. I hope this time when Miss Kelly release an album she doesn’t wait a year to drop videos like she did on her last album. After the sucess of Motivation she should have kept dropping videos like other artist. She only really promoted that one song.
I hate when they beep out words in songs, just make a clean version like they use to do back in the day. They didn’t have to beep out every other word.

LOL@the people saying that this isn’t single worthy. The same was said about “Motivation” and all sorts of predictions were made that it would flop, but it didn’t. And this song is more immediately infectious than that one. On a side note, I’m thrilled that it’s not a silly ass dance-pop song.

TEAM KELLY! Love the track, the “new” pacing is sort of throwing me off a bit, usually it’s verse 1, hook,verse 2, hook,bridge (featured rapper,Weezy),collabo ending. I understanding doing it a little different, almost like a duet, but I’m not sure. By the second time hearing it, I got the rhythm better, and realized the beat and Ms. Kelly’s voice is ON FIRE! (Pun not intended). Can’t wait for the video!
