New Song: Marcus Canty – ‘In & Out (Ft Wale)’

Published: Tuesday 10th Jul 2012 by David

“I be in and out of love…”

X Factor USA’s Marcus Canty launches his career with the dance number ‘In & Out‘ featuring Wale today, months after gracing the televised contest.

Already garnering a few spins here at TGJ HQ, the cut sees Marcus come down with a severe case of the ‘Casanova’, spawning lyrics and a theme akin to Lady GaGa‘s ‘Pokerface‘.

Believe us when we say this is one is a must listen.

He sounds so much better, and that ladies and gentlemen is the genius that is LA Reid. This is pretty good, all we have to do is wait and see how the promo will be handled but since he is with LA, he is in good hands.

I still maintain that after Confessions sold over 10 million in the US, LA is most likely the most sought after record exec in the music business, with artists like Justin Bieber, Rihanna, Pink under his belt.

His first offering since he did Xfactor and it’s a song called In And Out. He do have that sly look. In and out. How about up and IN?

Trying to funny, but you failed. Actually this is his second single… his first single is called “Won’t Make A Fool Out Of You” and it was on the Think Like A Man soundtrack.

This is a MUST LISTEN! They are trying to show how multi-dimensional Marcus is an artist. His first single was a slow melodic ballad which perfectly showcased his vocals. However, this single is for the clubs. It’s too show that he isn’t just a balladeer, but he can also get people up and dancing. As for that video you just posted…. what the heck??? LOL!

    Banger.

    Banger.

    Banger.

And people were complaining why he made it till the fourth place on X-FACTOR. His voice is a banger-maker!

The only thing off is his hairstyle, TOO FREAKING BORING, Marcus! Try on braids or afro, dye it blonde, I don’t care, but spice it up.

OMG, LA Reid still got it. Wow.

    boy can blow !!!

  13. Kingphoenix July 10, 2012

He is a good looking guy and all but his voice is very lack luster…And he needs to quit with those runs and that overly produced synthesized beat because its too much…It will probably sound nice in the club, I think he should have went a more sensual route with his voice for this song for some reason. Its like i wanted him to sound s***, but it came of as more him screaming over the beat.

He Is Good I like him…he can sing and I think they just need to work on his image some more…..The kid got talent

Why does everything have to be about image??That’s the problem with America. We’re too focused on image rather than the actual talent. As long as he can sing that’s all that matters.By the way this song is hot but different.I like the reggae sample kind of catchy.
