Watch: Leona Lewis Soars At BMW Olympic Festival

Published: Sunday 15th Jul 2012 by Sam

As Leona Lewis continues perfecting her ‘Glassheart’, she isn’t letting the lengthy delay in releasing the LP damper her live game. For following a rousing set at BBC Radio 1’s Hackney Weekend, the X Factor alumni took front stage centre at the BMW Olympic Joy Festival in Beijing, where she served up titillating showings of ‘I Got You’, ‘Bleeding Love’, and ‘Collide’.

Watch the songbird soar after the jump…

Good stuff. What’ll be even better is when that album finally arrives.

The Olympic performance would have been an amazing opportunity for her to debut a new single or song. Instead of her or her management being proactive about her career they just let her sing the same tired songs yet again. This is why this chick hasn’t been relevant since 2007/08. Next.

Love her. I honestly think when she drops ‘Trouble’ she will be back on top of the charts where she belongs. I’ve missed her in the charts 🙁

  7. BEYONCE’S WEAVE July 15, 2012

F*** I’m bored of this chick. We all know they only reason she has delayed the release of her new album is because she is waiting for X factor to start so she can give a predictable performance to promote it. This chick is nothing with X factor to “market” her

When Leona Lewis debuted a decade ago, immediate comparisons were drawn between the songbird and legendary diva Mariah Carey. Beyond their big voices, Lewis’ early material seemed to echo Carey’s earlier offerings. In the years since, the Londoner’s narrative has taken on a different path and steered away from the big ballads… Read More
