It was all good until the club owners allegedly lost $4 million as a result…
While at one time only knowing the Billboard charts as the site of their battles, fans were stunned to read R&B stageblazer Chris Brown and ‘Headlines’ hitmaker Drake rocking headlines earlier this year when the two (and their camps) were engaged in some level of brawl at a bar.
With the two constantly making (Twitter, spoken) jabs at each other in the incident’s following week, it seems the final hit may come from the bar where the incident occurred as the two are being jointly sued for their antic.
Find out the whopping figure the bar owners are seeking below and why they allege, as previously rumored, the fight was over ‘Man Down’ diva Rihanna:

“…Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. claims Drake and Brown started the scuffle at the joint clubs Greenhouse and WiP on June 14 and then ordered their crews to follow suit.
…claims in its suit that both stars “shared a grudge against the other arising out of their romantic relationships with the same woman,” meaning mutual ex Rihanna.
The suit explains…Each ordered his security personnel, bodyguards, friends and entourage to join the fight, which erupted into a violent brawl on a massive scale.”
…In addition to the damaged property, the suit mentions the emotional and physical damage sustained by several of the club’s patrons, which included NBA star Tony Parker, who is suing Greenhouse and WiP for $20 million as a result.
EEL seeks $16 million in damages for Drake and Brown’s “gross negligence,” “ultrahazardous activity” and “intentional illegal acts.”

And, this my friends, is only guaranteed to get messier. We at That Grape Juice would not be surprised if any of the accused parties do not counter-sue or file suit against each other to mitigate impending financial/commercial injuries. None of the bad press is doing any of the involved any favors, even those not present.
Furthermore, the inclusion (subliminally or indirectly) of Rihanna’s name in the incident does not exactly have a place here if it cannot be conclusively proven. Seems to be just another way to make the occurrence look that much sillier and the club (and owners) that much more the victim.
Le sigh. Either way, here’s hoping this aging incident blows over and quickly as the beef is getting staler by every mention…

Why would the group suing even mention the rumored reason for the fight? How do they know either “encouraged” the involvement of their people? Body guards are supposed to get involved because they are part of a barrier of protection. Shouldn’t they find out why and who is to blame and 16 million seems to be a lot for not knowing who did what for whatever reason. This sees as ridiculous as Tony Parker’s lawsuit.
Especially considering the host of other (like fighting, drugs, etc.)issues that club had WAY before that fight, that’s why they initially were shut down.

Both of them will find it hard to pay for the lawsuit. Just because Drake gets top 20 hits all the time, that doesn’t mean he’s rich. Young Money keeps most of the wages and most of Drake’s hits are features, so he probably doesn’t even have an overall networth of 16 million, let alone a bank account worth that much. The pleasant thing is that neither of these guys had a good reputation before this incident, so it’s not like it damaged their profiles.
