In case performances by Rihanna, Alicia Keys and P!nk weren’t enough to persuade you to tune in, we’ve got news that may force you to reconsider missing out on the 2012 Video Music Awards.
News, that comes in the shape of ‘Swim Good’ vocalist Frank Ocean.
As well as RiRi, innovative Best New Artist contender Frank Ocean is set to make his Video Music Award debut to deliver a soulful performance that has made him one of the most buzzed about artists of the year.
Set to mark his biggest performance since the release of his debut album ‘Channel Orange’ back in July, news of Ocean’s showing at the ceremony arrives after the LP hit sales of 262,000 units in the US.
It also comes after he cancelled all European dates of the album’s supporting tour, but before he takes to New York’s All Tomorrow’s Parties on September 21st to perform for fans.
