Hot Shot: Christina Aguilera Teases New Video

Published: Tuesday 21st Aug 2012 by Sam

As September looms, so does the music industry’s all-important “fourth quarter”. It’s a release window which, this year, brings with it a bevy of big releases – including the chart comeback of a certain Christina Aguilera.

And while little has been disclosed about The Voice star’s new project, the singer took to Twitter today to share a snap from the video set of the LP’s first single.

Word has it the track (reportedly titled ‘Your Body’) is to premiere early next month. And given that its video is being shot now, there’s every chance the song could launch alongside the visual for maximum impact. Exciting times, ay?

    no1 currr.

I have always read nothing but negative stories about this woman.

Her style is appalling she ALWAYS looks such a mess.

She should have released ‘bionic’ as a single with a futuristic meets cowboy-allsaints-style vintage-raw look in the desert. Bleached denim and dusty heels flying on a weightless motorbike. That would have been a hit…

    • LaLa August 21, 2012

Move on with Bionic! her new Single is upon us…

& Even with your idea above. Haters always had an ammo & called her copy Jessica Simpson & again Gaga. Am I Right?? #THE REALEST

She looks so epic! She’s been teasing us a lot lately. The puprle wig, the photo with all the outfits from the album photoshoot and now this pic! I think she’s got it together this time and I’m ready for her to come back and take the world by storm, because people have forgotten how epic this woman can really be. EMA’s 2003 anybody? 😀

Baby move on from Bionic. Damn. Christina is about to slay all your faves.

  11. ronnoc August 21, 2012

so excited! as long as she’s not gonna be wearing red ass lipstick in this video im happy

    • irene46 August 21, 2012

red lipstick…yesss! it’s her trademark and envogue.

  12. Honest August 21, 2012

I like Christina Augerliars music. Not her image or life performances. Yes she sounds beautiful but she overdoses it. She is the unique voice of the generation but other than that she is not the best. She has no technique at all. She throws in runs and riffs when they are not needed. By the time she finishes singing her songs on live performances they are unrecognizeable. She really needs to take it down a notch or in a few years she’ll have no voice. Even though Mariah Carey can still sing very well her voice won’t ever be the same. So much wear and tear is hard on the vocal chords. You need technique. Adele hasnt been around that long and she has already had surgery. The loudest is not always the best.

    • Kevin August 21, 2012

      HAHAHAHAHAHA! You bitter c***! :))

  13. Kevin August 21, 2012

HAIL TO THE QUEEN! GET YOUR THRONE BACK, LEGENDTINA!

  14. christinastherealtalent August 21, 2012

    @ HONEST

B**** that’s how Christina sings. It’s her style and her technique. Dammit its how she f****** sings. Who doesn’t have technique is Rihanna or Gaga or Katy or Taylor. I bet you’re just repeating what another commenter has already said because you sound like a broken record player. Christina is the voice of our generation and has a voice none of your faves will EVER come close to having. At least for Christina, unlike your faves, at the end of the day will have her voice and talent to back her up. youre obviously a t*** who hasn’t seen Christina music catalogue or followed her during her career.

    • MRDIVABITCH August 21, 2012

That’s how she sings? You mean straining and going off key? No honey, that’s not singing, that’s braying like a constipated mule.

  15. Speaks Truth August 21, 2012

Ahhhhhh Christina omg omg I can’t breathe!!! “lawd it’s fire* #Vanity

  16. Jermany August 21, 2012

I used to stan for this woman..but she comes off soo bitchy and mean spirited..! Her whole demeanor needs a over -haul. Have you watched the voice..? Umm..personality disorder much..?! She never shouts out her fans…..and i dont have any enthusiasm or excitement for watching sum slightly overweight ( for lack of a better word) woman squeeze her way into ill fitting clothing. .please Aggy dont look like a 2 cent Hooker

    • LaLa August 21, 2012

LOL Undercover haters acted like an ex Fans?? YOU FAILED bb!

She’s super real person. & will acted/said anything in her damn brain. & what the F at this comment?!

“She never shouts out her fans” DID REALLY YOU WATCH THE VOICE??! o,O She even hugs a fans from brazil that came into the Voice as an audience!

lol @ you & your 2 cent hooker tounge.

  17. aishaaguilerakeys August 21, 2012

Exciting times indeed. I hate that we have to wait so long for the single to be released.

  18. IOTA August 21, 2012

    That s*** better SLAY lol

I bought BIONIC and I loved it but it definitely could have been better. Hopefully this album will be more radio-friendly but not generic (which is very hard to do these days.)

    Let’s see how she does!

  19. MRDIVABITCH August 21, 2012

    *YAWNS*

    More songs about s**?
Nobody wants to listen to a fat chick sing about s**

I guess she’ll have to stick to singing about her daddy beating up her mom or something, as her only two themes in music are: S** or I AM STILL TRYING TO GET OVER MY S***** CHILDHOOD.

    • ASAP (As Sincere As Possible) August 21, 2012

If these are her ONLY 2 themes, then how come 99% of her biggest hits have NOTHING to do with either of these subjects? Her only popular songs that have to do with s** or her father are ‘The Voice Within’, ‘Dirrty’, ‘Hurt’ and arguably ‘Fighter’. 4 songs!

      • MRDIVABITCH August 21, 2012

        Really? Songs about S**:
Genie in a bottle, Come on over, When you put your hands on me, Dirrty, Still Dirrty, Candyman, Not myself tonight, WooHoo, S** for breakfast, etc

Songs related to her trying to “overcome”:

Beautiful, The voice within, Keep on singing my song, Soar, Fighter, Walk away, The right man, Hurt, Oh Mother, I’m Ok, Stronger than ever, etc…

And that’s just off the top of my head.

      • LaLa August 21, 2012

        @MRNEGATIVEBITCH

So what’s wrong if she wrote a songs about; s**, childhood memories, self-encouraging as a themes?!

every artist did it & have their own themes. Let’s say your Idol Gaga… She also had s** songs & songs about her ex Luc. Adele wrote many songs about broken hearted. etc etc…

May I ask. Have ever wrote a song before?! if yes, did you wrote it based on your past experience in life???! or you just randomly put on a words….

it’s not that hard to digest bb. you should stop reaching or being a TROLL

    • LaLa August 21, 2012

      *YAWNS*

More negative comments from MRNEGATIVEBITCH! How fresh! Btw, How’s your career boo??? any progress…

      • MRDIVABITCH August 21, 2012

My career is going fine daaaahling, preparing some performances within the next few months 🙂 making it happen old-school style, you know…through making real music, not just sucking someone’s c*** for pre-made beats 🙂

And just for fun, a little acapella of “Vision of love” for you, where I sing some nice soulful (and tasteful) runs

      • LaLa August 21, 2012

Okay after heard you acapella. here’s my honest comment (but not rude):

they way you sang it it came to choppy & not fluid. & to sing a pop song you should let go with your operatic ‘manual book’ (like Jewel said at the youtube link I gave you) & again… I don’t feel a soul or how you emulate the lyrics to come alive. yes you showed up you range. but that’s all nothing when you cannot deliver the essence of the song.

& gosh, at your tagging whitney, aretha, ella, etc.. lol

    • rich86 August 21, 2012

well well well look who we got here,if it ain`t primohomo i mean primohomme, dude get over yourself and most importantly get over christina aguilera u mariah wannabe!

  20. MC August 21, 2012

I think I read somewhere that the song it called Your body (F*** your body). Hopefully it is nice and simple…..I want a non dancing track that sounds good. 🙂

  24. nitti August 21, 2012

I am so excited Christina is brilliant, bionic was brilliant, and I everybody stops comparing her to Gaga because clearly Christina has been doing this type of sound & style long before there was a Lady Gaga. If anything Christina channels the iconic Madonna & so does Lady Gaga.

    • irene46 August 21, 2012

gaga also channels christina with the platinum hair and red lipstick. there are pics where you might mistake gaga for christina at first glance.

that gaga copied christina was bs publicity to beat up and christina and ruin bionic sales.

bionic was a good album in spite of poor sales. however, i heard it was illegally downloaded by the millions.

    ===================================================================

    @ mr diva

as much negativity as she’s constantly forced to ‘overcome’ it’s no wonder that’s where her creative focus lies.

she’s got to have strong and i mean really strong fortitude to put up with the hate and shade that never stops coming her way and is still able to go on. that song ‘fighter’ fits her like no one else.

    keep going, christina!!!

    ====================================================================

yeah, good control and range. really great whistle range.

i still say you have an operatic voice not made for pop, however, maybe blended with some pop music the feeling might be there. after all it works for non singers…britney and others.

    • MRDIVABITCH August 21, 2012

What negativity is she “forced to endure”? If anything she creates negativity around her, if one believes what the tabloid stories say about her. Anyway, I don’t care about if she’s a saint or an evil b**** from hell, but it’s ridiculous her stans think that another era of tacky whorey looks suddenly “slays everybody”.

And excuse me darling, but I can sing anything because I can sing MUSIC, in other words…if one knows the notes to sing, one can sing most anything…for example, here something sung completely pop, without even using vibrato or heavy tone…

      http://soundcloud.com/anyello-vox-absolutus/anyello-breathe

Anyway, thanks for your comment and for listening to.

      • LaLa August 22, 2012

Prove it! By singing Country music

        we’ll be waiting. hah!

      +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
i will admit a bit of the negativity may be brought on by christina herself. however, the media beat her down to what seemed to be an effort to destroy her career. it turned into ugly bullying. if anyone should lose it, it seems it would be christina instead of the media’s beloved britney who they allow to get over with total lack of talent.

they turned up the volume on the gaga rip off bs which possibly caused christina’s bionic album to flop (i know you’ll disagree but bionic was a good album), they lied that her movie was a flop…it wasn’t etc. they still don’t even mention that her feature with maroon 5 is one of the best selling singles in history. but anyway about you…

now mr diva, lala and i both admit that we’re not musical experts but both of us agree operatic singing has a completely different “feel” than pop and r & b. if a song is not executed with the right emotion for that genre all the good technique in the world means nothing.

you’re a great opera singer but so far r & b and pop…not so much.

      anyway good luck.

  28. rich86 August 21, 2012

@mrdivabitch,seriously dude give it a rest,we get that u don`t like her so why is it so difficult for u to stay away from her? does she have the life that u wish u had? or wait i know what it is,she has the record deal that u will NEVER GET! awwwwwww don`t cry,u always have u tube to post your clips of u trying to sing like mariah lmao

    • MRDIVABITCH August 21, 2012

LMAO you idiot b****, I’m not “trying to sing like Mariah”, that’s what Christina does and fails miserably at, trying to copy Mariah’s melissma and instead shakes her larynx randomly landing on random notes.

She has a record deal? Oh how nice, so does Nicki Minaj, Ke$ha, Rihanna, Katy Perry, etc – Big f*****’ deal. A real vocalist is not made by a record deal, it is made by delivering a solid vocal performance, something your fave has NEVER.

      • LaLa August 22, 2012

It’s so sad right??? that A real vocalist cannot get a record deal. Ohhh wait, we had Mariah Carey, Josh Groban, Michael Buble, Celine Dion, Kelly Clarkson, the great Pavarotti, etc…

        *giggle*

      • rich86 August 23, 2012

whats your point? she`s still highly respected for her voice and as much as i love mariah lets be real she didn`t invent melissmas nor singing in that falsetto/head voice.I guess it makes u feel even more horrible that minaj, kesha etc got deals and u still ain`t got 1 huh.U can always try starting with this tip-its call getting over yourself and stop thinking u are the best vocalist on earth, lets not forget u got booted off american idol, whereby christina at any age be it when we was just 12 yrs or 16 o20 even now ,without any vocal training could easily get pick.Last but not least just admit it u are obsessed with xtina, literally every post on this site with her even if its just a pic of her ,u are commenting.U need some serious mental help darling, muah!

  29. MRDIVABITCH August 21, 2012

    @LALA

In that acapella I was singing using the gospel/blues scale and effortlessly transitioning across 2.5 octaves (G2-C5) plus that C6 at the end. Has your fave EVER shown that level of control, effortlessness, range, etc singing acapella? NEVER, and you know it!

“Soul” singing does not mean “feeling it”, it means singing with the musical language of the gospel/blues scale creating cohesive musical phrases with it! Which I did very tastefully, and your have has never shown to actually be able to execute well – splattered runs are not “soul” singing, they are just splattered, imprecise, tacky, etc.

And that wasn’t operatic AT ALL. Your musical ignorance scares me, but it explains why you like basic b******.

    • LaLa August 22, 2012

1st of all. I’m not understand about that G2, C6, etc etc,,, I’m not music school attendant. I just ‘score’ you based on my ears.

& tbh I don’t care if you, whitney or xtina who can belt the highest range as long I can enjoy the overall vocals/song. Like you said, no need for extra overhauls / runs like Xtina did. & you did the (not) same way with “vision of love” *start from 00:19*. wassup with 00:40 yea yea yea?? & at 00:46 I expect it will do the mashup to buble’s “feeling good” song. lol

That your own opinion that you did that acapella “I did very tastefully”. but nope.. I don’ hear the same. actually tbqh I’m a bit cringe when I heard your acapella.. sorry.

Okay you can say I’m musical ignorance. I don’t care (since I’m not majoring in music, etc). All I hear is your voice tone & control is too operatic (like Chris Mann or Michael Buble) & your tone is too ‘deep’ for my liking.

All in All… tbh, you are the same as Xtina (or maybe even worse). You both think that your range & sing runs/widest range is the best… but nope you both wrong. & wassup with you hating her Real/Bitchy attitude whilst you also DO THE SAME (or even more) Bitchy comments to her??? whoaaa… get a grip bb. this is the sign that maybe you hate yourself.

      *PATS*

    • rich86 August 23, 2012

u gotta be unbelievably stupid, its a reason why u call it soul music, its singing from the heart and deep from the soul, its what u feel and expressing it,it has nothing to do with running to a coach or doing a degree in music and singing with flawless technique, dude get over it.At the end of the day it all boils down to the voice, having that special ear attracting sound, whitney ,mariah have millions of fans but do u think they under musical technicalities etc?absolutely not,its just sth abt the voice that attracted them and got their attention, same thing with christina aguilera, her technique may not be great but she`s got that commanding voice that stops u in your tracks, something your voice doesn`t do regarldess how flawless your technique is and u know that.So leave xtina alone, get over it,her and yourself and focus on your stuff and tryn to get a record deal cuz u ain`t sure if u getting 1 and secondly if u do ,u aren`t sure if u might even sell 1 copy well except if u purchase it

      • MRDIVABITCH August 24, 2012

If “singing from the heart” was all it takes for music to be “soul music” than ANYTHING that is sung “with feeling” would be soul music, but no…soul music refers specifically to music using the gospel/blues scale.

Again, you speak purely out of 100% IGNORANCE

      • LaLa August 25, 2012

        @MRBLAHBLAH

Wow, I’m amaze on how your BRAIN thinking afterall the music lesson & all….

The main problem with you “Vision of Love” is… YOU DID NOT FEEL or REFLECT THE SOUL/ESSENCE OF THE MUSIC = SOUL.

it needed both of the emotion & how you evoke with your scale. Who is the ignorance right now???

If singing is just about GOSPEL/BLUES SCALE without any emotion, You are basically just a flat sound robot but with widest range. Now I SEE that your career is goes nowhere & only stuck making negative comment on BLOG like this!… your attitude SUCKS man! well no wonder tho. since you called yourself MR D. B****!

…I really feel pity for you…
        you soulless human being.

  30. commanderofthedancefloor August 22, 2012

it looks like it might have a vintage look.

  31. kytele August 22, 2012

Not gonna lie, I went from not liking her to stanning for her irl. A lot of people give her hate but she’s doing her thing where basically, she don’t give a f*** tbqh. And in the male dominated industry she’s in, she’s living her life exactly the way she wants to and has to put up with being labeled a b**** because she seems so headstrong and just knows what she wants. I can’t hate her on that.

  32. Donnell August 22, 2012

I think the single will be awesome, none of her lead singles have ever disappointed me. The only thing that bothers me is that it’s claimed to be a max martin produced track. As far as it goes with her song subject matter, she only has 2 songs about abuse. The others don’t directly address the subject. Fighter was about other ppl in her life. Stronger than ever was a relationship themed track. The s** thing isn’t just her, everyone is overdoing the whole i love s** thing nowadays. And to be honest, after a while how much is there to sing about? S**, love, relationships, encouragement, dancing in the club, money, bullying. That’s with all music period. Topics repeat themselves. As far as it goes with her oversinging, i’ll admit she needs to tighten up. She’s developed bad habits over time, that she didn’t used to do. But she could’ve improved since we’ve last seen her do new material. Overall i’m rooting for her. btw she does come off a little mean on the voice sometimes, but i’m sure that’s not her intention.
