Miguel is an amazing artist and his songwriting ability as well as his music in general has grown so much from his debut album up until this point. I’m definitely going to buy his upcoming album and support real R&B music.

  • I hope while the album was being previewed reviewers didn’t happen to notice any songs where Miguel “casually” sings ‘he’ and ‘him,’ so that he isn’t “forced” to address it on Tumblr…followed by publicity seeking open letters to him by Beyonce, Solange, Busta Rhymes, Jamie Foxx, 50, etc., etc.

  • The music resonates if he quits with all of the (unoriginal) theatrics. I cringed watching him as if he was purposely imitating his favorite artists. *Prince/Elvis* Besides that, the new album sounds like it’s gonna be incredible. REPLAY on “Candles In The Sun”.

  • Um…why do I get the feeling that Sam is fronting with all this Miguel coverage? He was called out for never reporting on Francine before her big announcement, while inundating readers every 10 minutes with updates after. Just seems like disingenuous damage control.
