Little Mix Fly With ‘Wings’ Acoustic

Published: Tuesday 28th Aug 2012 by Sam

Little Mix may be on course to top the charts with ‘Wings’ this week, yet that hasn’t stopped the Pop quad from pressing on with their promotional efforts. Case, point, a freshly released acoustic performance of the song.

Watch the ladies showcase their winning “X Factor” after the jump…

Great performance!

Having already captured their “market”, the ladies could easily earn more brownie points by releasing an acoustic EP. They boast harmonies that haven’t been showcased by a successful UK group in years.

Yes, the harmonies are great but some of the individual voices are weak. Thats what they need to now work on.

I MOST CERTAINLY WISH THEM THE BEST!!!!!!

THE HARMONIES ARE FANTASTIC. AND THIS SONG IS ON MY IPOD!

BUT FOR ME, THE WORST SINGER FOR ME IS THE BLACK GIRL. THABOUTERE IS SOMETHING ABOUT HER VOICE THAT IS SO WEAK, ESPECIALLY IN COMPARISON TO THE THREE OTHER WHITE GIRLS – SOMETHING I NEVER THOUGHT ID SAY!!!!!!

I disagree, i think it’s because she comes after Perri who clearly has the strongest voice. I thnk the other 3 sound very similar vocally with Jessy sounding slightly different.

Gosh TGJ I mean their good but the last line up of the suga babes were far more superior with their individual vocals and their harmonies and that wasn’t that long ago

Perrie is doing ALL THE WORK. Harmonies and solos. Without her they would be three girls singing at the same time in no particular cohesion.

Seriously! Listen. Perries adds the only texture and interest to these vocals. Her and Jade are decent.

They do 4 part harmonies. Meaning each girl sings something different. They all work hard. Perrie andto a lesser extent jade get most of the ad libs and high harmonies because they have better range than the other two. Technically speaking jade is the best singer in the group. Girl has near perfect pitch. Jesy has incredible tone but she over stylizes her delivery which is a turn off. Vocal runs are a way to mask not being able to stay on pitch. It’s a gimmick. Leighann

Has the thinnest timber and smallest range but a nice tone. To me she is there for the occasional lead and to flesh out the harmonies. And she has a great image

leighann has come a long way i think she deserves credit for that ,her tone is crisp , now , i think jade needs more thickness to her voice , shes not as powerful in full voice , but thats why they are all in this group , they have strengths and weakness each girl makes up for what the others don’t have

Leigh Ann has drastically improved her vocals. I think jade could have been accused of having a thin timber early on but now her full voice has a very rich tone.
